Grand Cherokee Hemi 5,7L - Exhaust Sound

i can't tell much of a difference b/w the stock exhaust and the magnaflow exhaust, maybe bad quality i'm hoping for your sake given the extra cost to you?? i have an 08 JGC w/ 20k on it that i just bought in July 11, wondering what type of exhaust to put on it, to get the extra performance and sound and i'm not sure MF, is going to be my choice. THOUGHTS?

Sounds really nice hwoever i still prefer the sound of the old 5.9's better. They just have more a deep rumble to them i dunno

Beautiful Grand Cherokee. I've been thinking of buying one now that the deals are great. How reliable has yours been? Any problems with the transmission, drivetrain and brakes?

that 545RFE Chrysler gearbox is tried and tested

I've heard no bad words about durability on the Hemi

and the brakes...no idea really sorry but no reason why they should be had I guess

I have a 2001 GC with the 4.0 six and the last major expense was a broken "window modulator" which cost me around $540 to get it fixed at the local dealer. Besides that it's been great.

I don't think I've ever heard of a problem directly related to the 4.0 LOL

i have an 09, used to have an 06. the breaks are MUCH stronger and have never faded on the 2009, ive slammed on them at over 100 MPH and they feel like my BMW . never had a problem with the hemi

for a jeep that sounds good...when i get older the only engine im drivin is a hemi because i hate everything else..it seems like every car out there has a hemi, pretty soon we may see them on the ford focus lol

Not loud enough, you reving way to hard to get that sound. there must be some kind of stock resonator on that system still.

Its a respectably fast SUV. Ive beaten some with the normal 5.7L hemi in my TBSS but I think the SRT8 would be an entirely different story...

I have magnaflow muffler on mine. When I put on the air intake it really quieted the roar from the magna. It's a lot deeper now, but quieter.
