I read in another article they were working kids to the point of exhaustion mixed in with gay pastors (NOT just Ted Haggard) who were sexually abusing them on top of it.

I went to New Life that day. I never really watched this. I was worried. Scared and just. Blown away this happened to my church. Still in shock but we are still strong today. it's stil so vivid my grandpa was part of the security that was on the scene. he didn't go home til 9:00 that night.

New Life is a huge church that has tons of kids. This tragedy wasn't worse. More people weren't killed. I'm sure the shooter had plans to shoot a whole more people then he was able to. God was there.

He was a former student at YWAM, not a stranger. They expelled him five years ago. Before that he was home-schooled by his deeply religious parents. The two girls he killed in the parking lot of New Life Church had also attended YWAM.

@Einstiensblackid - Yes, everything happens for a reason, but, no one knows the reasons why God does something. We have no right to say WHY God does something. However, we can say what He reveals to us through the Bible - that bad things happen to the good & the bad because sin is in the world. There's no getting around that. Whether we commit the sin or it is committed to us, or we are just living their lives, bad things will happen to all of us. We have no right to speak for God.

There is more to what you are seeing folks. Look up subjects on SLEEPERS. This kid is the third in like a month to just kill people at random. And the third incident to happen in a common town in Colorado (remember Columbine?). Are they are doing something to those children? Perhaps the Church was involved? Since when do armed guards go to church? Guns in church are not a sign of faith at all. But then again neither is the Pope-mobile :)

New Life is a huge church that has tons of kids. This tragedy wasn't worse. More people weren't killed. I'm sure the shooter had plans to shoot a whole more people then he was able to. God was there.
