did you know God loves you so much that he gave his own son a perfect and spotless lamb as a sacrifice so you could be with him in heaven i will admit i dont know much about the bible or christian belifes but i myself belive that if you except Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you try your best to live for him him then you cant go wrong because he loves you so much. as for me i just cant wait till the day im in heaven and Jesus says you have done well my good and faithfull servant. o:)
"The WOF teaches authority over all dominions of this present age that includes sickness."
- there is no bible for that.
"Why does Peter quote "By his stripes we are healed"
-if you read the context of that passage you will see it has nothing to do with physical healing but rather healing from the penalty of sin. Illness is never mentioned.
i think the worst insult that could possibly happen to someone who suffered so much is to replace his identity and name and religion with pagan blasphemy. that probably hurts as bad as the execution.
@joedirty777777 my comments you question were directed at hen8167 below. Several of their comments are trying to distort the Scriptures saying someone went back and changed the words to Isaiah 53. Jesus (Yeshua) did die for our transgressions on Passover, went to the grave on Unleavened bread, rose on First Fruits and poured out Holy Spirit with Power on Pentecost.

Isaiah 53 is the name and number of my 71/4 Gauge steam outline Battery Powered loco. That's right I have my very own miniature railway in my back garden. How rare is that? We can all live our lives for God if we stop sinning.
Isaiah 52 and 53 both speak prophetically about Jesus.Verse 13 in chapter 52 talks about My servant.Guess what? That's Jesus!Jesus stated in John 5:39-You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.
I suggest you all read the prophet again from the beginning might help! I only have 1 question for you...WHO IS SPEAKING IN THE NARRATIVE OF THE PROPHET ISA 53?
"And yet he does not seem to know this! And accuses G-d of forsaking him! Very strange!" - schnaz65
Sin separates us from God. When Jesus said "My God My God why have you forsaken me" He was feeling this separation, as this was the moment when all of the sins of the world were laid on him. Jesus gave his life freely.
John 10:
17The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. "
Isiah 53 is really saying: The Nations of the world saying "Look how we treated the "servant" Israel, look how we treated the Jews. He had neither form nor grandeur; ...he was despised and isolated of men, a man of pains and accustomed to illness...But in truth it was our ills he bore (meaning the mistreatment of the Jews was the sin of the nations) verse 10:... he would see offspring and live long days. Jesus had no offspring (Zera in hebrew - means seed or offspring, not spiritual children.)
But hear now, Jacob, My servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen! (2) Thus aid G-d Who made you and fashioned you from the womb, Who will help you: Fear not, My servant, Jacob and Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
this is not the only prophicy like this there are many more but the suffering that jesus went though you can not deny is identical to this and this is a prophecy the suffering servent and god has many servents does he not? gods love is abundant and he has many servents and you cannot deny jesus look at all the other miracles that have happened though him (e.g. google eucharistic miracles and tell me what comes up okay.) and one day just do me a favor and try it out and ((pray)) see what happen
Reread the chapter and instead of Jesus in mind have "My servant, Israel" in mind and tell me if it fits. "He was persecuted and afflicted, but he did not open his mouth" That would describe the holocaust, but it would not describe Jesus. Jesus was NOT silent on the cross! "My G-d my Ge-d why have you forsaken me?" Isiaih 53:7 "Like a sheep being led to the slaughter or a ewe that is silent before her shearers, he did not open his mouth" - Defiantly NOT Jesus.
Besides if Jesus' major mission is to die for human kind and he has reached the pinnacle of his career - to die on the cross what does Jesus say? Does he say "I'm so glad I can die now for all people"? No he accuses G-d of forsaking him! Hang on! This is your very mission! G-d is not forsaking you. On the contrary! You are doing the ultimate deed in history! And yet he does not seem to know this! And accuses G-d of forsaking him! Very strange!
I guess I could have a suffering friend or family member in mind when reading I-53 and it would apply to them, too. Open your heart to the Truth and you will see it.
Isaiah 53 is really saying: The Nations of the world saying "Look how we treated the "servant" Israel, look how we treated the Jews. He had neither form nor grandeur; ...he was despised and isolated of men, a man of pains and accustomed to illness...But in truth it was our ills he bore (meaning the mistreatment of the Jews was the sin of the nations) verse 10:... he would see offspring and live long days. Jesus had no offspring (Zera in hebrew - means seed or offspring, not spiritual children.)
umm god made us. right well even in genesis it says god created man and woman right. are we not his children? so by his suffering he will see his children live long cuz the world back then wasnt so good
If you want to preach to Christians, by all means, but don't go preaching to Jews, who aren't religious and don't have the skills to defend their faith. I find it strange, gentiles telling Jews, (Jews for Jesus) how to read the Jewish Torah. I can't tell you how to learn the NT. By the same token you can't preach to Jews how to learn the Jewish Bible written in the Jewish language, by Jewish prophets with a message to the Jews. Missionaries target only Jews who are not religious. Outrages.
okay he was slient he was like trying to stop them he was a god in a human body. he felt everything a human did so he opened his mouth. whats wrong did you look into what happened to him? here we go.
hematidrosis- so much stress he was sweating blood
striped in public
(whiped and beated)*(up to 39times per soldier) each whip had hoocks
crown of thorns piercing his scalp
hit on the head with heavy reed
muscle nerve endings exposed. ever have a pinched nerve? now super intense pain + cross
-now with all this he goes into respiratory acidosis meaning co2 in blood is disolved into carbonic acid high acity and erratic pulse.
-fluid gathers around the heart in the membrane, pericardial effusion also around the lungs, plural effusion caused by the sustained rapid heart rate slowly destroyed the entire internal system. this isnt so bad right?
-hypo-volemic shock from blood loss basicly his body shuts down
-unable to breathe, dehydrated mucles failing blod presure falling he
Even if Isaiah 53 is talking about the Messiah, what does all that prove? Do you think no other Jews suffered pain. Have you heard of the Inquisition? Public live burnings. Pogroms? Forced conversion? all leading to the inevitable result, the holocaust.
No disrespect but Isiah can be talking also (at least) about Israel. See Isaiah 41:8 and 44:1 where the suffering servant is identified as Israel.
There are Christian Bibles which admit that Isaih 53 is about collective Israel.
One will find a pleasant surprise at finding the Revised Standard Version Oxford Study Edition Bible, and read the commentary it listed for Isaiah 53. RSV tells us that Isaiah 53 is about national Israel. New Revised Standard Version and New English Bible echo this analysis.
There are many scriptures that cross reference against Isaiah 53. as well. When the collective evidence is layed out, there is no choice but to see that Isaiah 53 speaks of Jesus, the Messiah. Here is one such scripture from the new testament:
Revelations
7Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen
Yes. Isiah 52 leads into Isiah 53. Isiah 52 is speaking about the future glory of Jerusalem and how the Jews are returning in glory. It then continues (52:12) with the Gentile Kings speaking in awe in how the Jews, who they thought despised and reviled, was actualy G-ds chosen Nation all along and how the previous depised servant, the Jews, now are vindicated. This is clear from the MANY times Isiah refers to the Jews as G-ds servant. And from the flow from Isiah 52.
How do you see this is Jesus? Many Jews have suffered. Many Jews have died. So he suffered, what does that prove? 6,000,000 Jews were killed, maybe Chapter 53 the "servant" is Israel?
Secondly, look at Isaiah 41:8. The text CLEARLY names the "servant":
"But you, O Israel, My servant, Jacob, you whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham who loved Me.....(vs 9) I shall say 'You are My servant' - I have chosen you and not rejected you.
Thank you my brothers and sisters

Shnaz65, Jesus said "My God My God why have you forsaken me" in fulfillment of Psalm 22, 2
My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why so far from my call for help, from my cries of anguish?
Jesus was in distress. Right after this cry for help, he breathed his last and gave up his spirit.

Isaiah 53, 4-6
4 Yet it was our infirmities that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, While we thought of him as stricken, as one smitten by God and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our offenses, crushed for our sins, Upon him was the chastisement that makes us whole, by his stripes we were healed.
6 We had all gone astray like sheep, each following his own way; But the LORD laid upon him the guilt of us all.
