Technically you can combo Oblivion->Return DC-> Godspeed-> Octoslash. If you have midair evasion boost on, seph's dodge can be redirected to a second direction based on how you're flicking your analog stick so you dodge left, for example, and push your stick right to make him move back to more or less the same place. Then Godspeed. Tricky, but rewarding.

@CaminoalAlba wanna know a cool combo with Sephiroth? While in EX mode, send ur opponent flying away, then hold R and Square together to activate Sin Harvest Angel, the deadly move from KH2.  It will take him a long time for him to come as long as he dosen't dash. Only use this when ur opponent's bravery is high, because this move knocks ur opponent's bravery to 0. After, then follow up with a Square attack and you will REALLY break him ^^

Great Vid! I've been using Sephy since the game came out, and these combos are Sephiroth's bread and butter.

My personal fav. is Sudden Cruelty > DC > Oblivion > RDC(I think?) > Octaslash. Especially with an Iai strike build.

Cannot wait for Dissidia 2! (Since I can't spell the true title lol)

I can't dodge cancel fast enough.I always cancel when Sephy pulls back his sword and goes back to his standing pose and the opponent has already recovered.

I'm having a very hard time connecting Oblivion into Octaslash. I'm fighting Lunar Whale CPUs, and they're still having enough recovery time to escape my Octaslash immediately after Oblivion. As well, since I have horrible timing, I start mashing the Square button immediately after FDCancelling...

@thenumberonejason Nope, I believe Square doesn't want Evil/Darkness to Triumph. They're just too Light, Bright, Holy, Good or Anti-Darkness to do so.

Sephiroth's (nearly infinite) combo is irritating if you're not using him.

Has anyone else discovered this combo:

ShadowFlare (Ground) > SuddenC > sDC > Oblivion > turn/hook/etcDC towards the enemy > Godspeed > tcGodspeed > Octoslash

The difficult part is the transition from Oblivion to Godspeed. Timing is so strict and doing it is so risky that it isn't worth doing in a serious match. If you time it wrong, the enemy can block you and you'll be in melee range because you dodged towards the enemy.

Two new combos. Hellgate>excancel>heaven's light must be against the wall. Hellgate>excancel>than whatever brave attack in the air besides shadow flare. Not sure about Godspeed. It's not much but u can try them once u get ur psp. I'm not sure if it always works but it has to be up in the air, like way up.

Amazing vid man, really useful for me. I do have a combo you might want to try though.

Godspeed (DC), Sudden Cruelty (DC), Oblivion.

I've found it pretty useful not only for damage but also amazing mind games, forces them away then just fake them out with Black Materia lvl.1 and screw them over again.

It's not noobish, don't worry.

Anyway, DC is a neutral Dodge, and TDC you have to do it with a direction. Just dodge towards your opponent, that's all...
