that coda that they do on this version "where is my badge?" is the best thing they did to improve an already classic song. it finally made sense in that there was no reference to any type of badge in the song before that. unfortunately, they never seemed to play it that way afterwards. saw that version in 1978. apparently under heavy heroin use. does heroin further the innovative muse? of course not. just sayin'...
