You can get 3G speeds with Simple Mobile on T-Mobile phones only. They are using the T-Mobile backbone network so they have all of the services T-Mobile uses. I am using a T-Mobile BlackBerry 9700 and I have 3G usage in 3G coverage areas and edge everywhere else. In the 3G areas, I can talk and surf simultaneously. Hope this helps.

I got the internet to work on iphone 4 on simple but stops working when I reboot the phone. So when it loads up I need to pop the sim and insert it again for the internet to work again or leave the phone on all the time without rebooting. Has anyone got this to work without any problems and what did u do to fix it?

Simple mobile is $60 unlimited everything. I use an iPhone with the right settings everthing works fine. All my apps too mms even works

Simple Mobile advertises 3g network. Is the Edge restriction an iPhone thing or is there 3g claim not true for any phones?

@atlien991 Yes they do have 3G, but since they operate on T-Mobiles network. You have to find a phone with the T-Mobile 3G 1700MHZ/2100MHZ. Since T-Mobile rolled out with 3G a lot longer than AT&T did. I have a LG XENON unlocked with Simple Mobile and my phone is operating on Edge.
