Well said. I couldn't agree with you more. Never read the books and it was really confusing and shocking to see Hermione ending up with Ron. I so agree with you! Their chemestry together reminds me of Mulder & Scully from The X Files. They started off as best friends,but ended up falling in love and having a son together. And the veiwers couldn't have had any other way. Why? Why couldn't J.K. Rowling have done the same thing? Why Ginny? I just don't get it.

there was NEVER a Harry and Hermione. And to believe otherwise is sheer delusion on your part. Not once in any of the books was there a connection between the two, not even a hint of one.

i know only one couple, but they were actual friends. which is not at all like harry and ginny. harry and hermione go really well together. besides, its ron's fault she was almost killed, and harry forced ron to go with him to SAVE her.

Seriously? I love non-canon ships, but you should acknowledge the canon that gave you the characters in the first place. I'm getting sick of people saying JKR doesn't know her characters. They are hers. Of course she knows them. I disagree with a lot of her choices (Remus/Tonks, the damn epilogue), but I still respect the fact that she made them as the author, and she knows her world better than we ever will. If you don't care what it says in the book, why are you a H/Hr (or anything) shipper?
