DST - I believe you say "yes" during winter because the clocks go back to give you an extra hour of daylight so that would majestic sense - but that's a complete guess.

I'm looking forward to this LP I have soulsilver but like all poke on games never got around to beating it

Brilliant episode, although I feel compelled to ask whether you meant Gen II introduced "held items" as a concept or "introduced more held items for use" because if you meant the former, I would have to say you're wrong.

But they did introduce held items. Pokémon couldn't hold items in RBY.

For some reason, you made me feel old... Even if I'm from the generation that started with this game, I actually started with Red and that's why I understood your pain in Yellow. Anyway, you have me addicted to this LP now, the voices are great and I just can't wait to hear the voices for the Gym leaders!

I played Crystal more than Silver because I was in love with the fact that I could play as a girl! And that they made a bigger story for Suicune instead of just being another "roaming" Pokémon

I remember playing Pokemon Gold on my old "brick" Gameboy. I originally got a Gameboy Color with Red Version, but I bought my friends "brick" for 10 dollars and played Gold on it. Oh the day's of old. Nothing will replace the thrill of Gen II.

I was thinking the same thing when it came to the whole Grassy Ass/Gracias/Audrey II decision. Great minds think alike, eh? It fits because Typhlosion's Japanese name is Bakufun, so you can visualize him having fun baking delicious cookies on himself while hearing "feed me, Seymour!" in the background.

oh man I love gen 2 since my first game Pokemon game was Crystal.

this just happens to be one of the funniest first episodes eva Especial voice of the Mom who just sits their and Stare at her Table ( which was made in Charlotte North Carolina) for the rest the game.

You have no idea how much I was grinning throughout this. Gen 2 isn't my favorite, but there's something so nostalgic about Silver that I love. Also, I was drinking chocolate milk, and almost spat it out a few times. Your commentary's always the best. Can't wait for more! Good luck on your other LPs as well, Harry! :D

I agree the newer generations have lost the original charm... and Pokemon names.

@SuperMoore11 I dunno. I think the newer ones are good. I just think they vastly overcomplicated the battle mechanics in Gen V. And the problem with that is that, in a franchise like PKMN, backpedalling isn't an option.

Even though I really like HeartGold and SoulSilver (Unlike you) I will admit they lack the charm the original Gold and Silver have.

I always found it a little annoying that even if you say "yes" when your mom asks you if you know how to use the phone she tells you how to use it anyway lol.

I really love all the starters in the gen as well. This is the only gen where I like all 3 starters.

Here's your difference between the words, Harry:

Farther only applies to physical distance, but Further can apply to anything to a greater degree, but it usually is used for time or an amount, anything that's abstract that you can measure. So, that guy used it the right way XD

I have no idea whether Daylight Savings is in the winter or the summer either, we always just used the spring forward/fall back thing as well XD

I always take Totodile and never evolve him. He's my absolute favorite starter everT. I really don't like Chikorita though...

@Blackchibisan Really? I know about the glitch for duplicating Pokémon and items but I never knew you could do it like that. Wow.

@RockPaperMario Yeah, basically, you save at cherrywood the first time in it or at all and save. Then you go through another file to the point where you can catch pokemon on a new file and do the glitch. You will get the box of the unsaved file and you can get the starter from it. This will not put the first form in your pokedex but you will own it.^_^
