I don't know what was I thinking when I was on my first playtrough with Chuck, charged in the chapel, unprepared for a boss fight. After the cutscene I realized how fucked I was when he charged me with the power of 2000 virgins. Only real weapons I had were baseball bat and a sledgehammer. After couple of tries I got the pattern down and managed to take him down. After the first charge, if you can manage to stay near him, apply hit and run tactics and with some time you are victorious.
