I just don't understand all the hype surrounding these latest batch of reality shows taking place in NJ. Jersey Shore is especially misleading, since none of the cast are actually from NJ -- they're from NY. Plus, the 2nd season was filmed in Miami, so why call it Jersey Shore at that point? Plus, all those shows portray Italian Americans as uneducated thug greaseballs with orange skin and jet black hair. That stereotype is not representative of Italian Americans as a whole.

This show isn't reality. It's "Assisted Reality". The stylists on the show do not actually work for The Gatsby. They're hired by the network..... I watch the show, and pick out many things that make it not as real as it should be... Olyvia has been dating Mikey for over a year. Tracy is with Lorenzo.... The Tracy Olivia fights aren't as real as they may seem

I am sure it is an act. It may have been genuine to begin with but I think they are now using it to keep the show going. I wouldn't be surprised if the salon owner was encouraged by the network to hire Tracy back after firing her.

@ThisIsMikeBlum I heard that the main characters of the show dont even actually work at the gatsby, and also that in real life olivia stole tracies boyfriend. You know how in reality shows, the directors take all the drama to a larger extent to what it actually is in real life, and they alter things? Well, apparently if you try to make an appointment with the main characters, they will say they are so busy with the show, but the truth is, they don't work there. lol. sucks huh?

The first thing anyone heard her say was something like "and I like it because it's preying on the weak and I like that"- - and seriously? She meant it 100%.
She starts ALL the fights, and thinks she's God's gift to mankind, and even says it like 10 times a day.
