  • BLOWS THE XK3 AWAY

  • On the newer Hammonds they come with a switch on the volume pedal that would allow him to speed up and slow down the rotors on the leslie.

  • @willonthejib I personally love foot switches for leslie control - could never do the whole seamless transitions using the manual control. Some do however say the footswitch encourages over-use of the leslie, but I can't see how one could ever over-use such a fantastic beast!

  • What are the drawbar combinations that you use?

  • tony monaco e un grande bisogna sentirlo in concerto

  • 2:53 How did he do that? Slow down the leslie without touching the switch? Hidden footswitch?

  • @theironfreak The same happens at 1:40 - the leslie slows right down. Must be a foot switch.

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 yes he is using a foot switch..... if you pay attention to his leg around 1:40 you can see it move over a little bit

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 It is not a foot switch...If you look at the beginning you see him switch the leslie switch with his hand....He is playing bass pedals with his foot...

  • @laidyeh You can use both a half moon switch and a foot switch on this organ, one does not mean the other cannot be used. You are correct that he uses as half moon switch at some points, but at others he uses a foot switch, hence the Leslie change at 1:40, with no hand activation.

  • This is great.... I can hear it over and over.......this sound and how it is played comes straight from the heart.

  • After 6 months of watching hammond video's, this is still my favourite! Thumbs up!

  • Man I decided to come back to listen again but this time with headphones on.. amazing :D

  • so sick. We've got one of the full mechanic hammond's it's just amazing to play on. Not that I'm any good at playing the piano.. lol

  • Are you using both a hand switch and a foot switch for the leslie?

  • My Korg C-X3 is as close as I will ever get to one of these : (

    ....Close enough for me! LOL

  • @angie4josh There's also portable version called the Hammond xk3c it kills the Korg C-x3

  • just great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice ending. Good timing with the fast to slow

modulation on the Leslie. One of my favorite

functions of the Leslie tones. Like a good singer.

  • One word, Fabulous!

  • Oh Yeah.

  • HAYYYYY NOW Dont u Touch my Backbone- u crazy 4 that Doc!!! keep it COming ..........loving It!!!

  • @Gritz97 I need some of whatever you're on.

  • They go great with vintage hammond organs, no matter what the new B has something wrong with it like the fact that it has 96 tonewheels is not a plus at all because it gives every tonewheel 2 decibels creating a digital effect not so much the real sound of the vintage.

  • What the name of this song?

  • DANG WHATS THAT CHORD ON 2:19?

  • I guess that's a Cmin9 chord... please correct anyone if it's the wrong type. You hear in bass pedals a C, left hand a C minor chord (C, Eb, G) and in the right hand a Bb major chord (Bb, D, F). And - of course - the leslie... ;-)

  • I mean Cmin11!

  • Hey man thanx. Ill try it out on my A100

  • Man that leslie and playing sounds superb. Have a question for you. I see that are doing a stereo mix, but what mics are you using to record the leslie?

  • great! :D

  • Outstanding sound! Outstanding playing!

  • I love the bass and you're a master organist:

    Rev. Michael Capps, Ph.D
