I think it's worth it for one reason UPDATES. As you Samsung and updates it's joke, that's why galaxy nexus I think it's worth it know that it's not the best, but still it's Google iPhone :)

If you don't tap to focus.... hold the shutter button down to allow it to focus (will be middle or attempt face recognition with [ ] on the screen. Then release to take the picture. This is just like a lot of other cameras on the market, but most people do it wrong.

DO NOT just tap the shutter unless you are spraying and praying for shots.

@deviantspeed Both methods work. You can tap on the object on the screen you want to manually focus on, or you can hold the shutter button and trust autofocus before releasing. Good stuff :]

The problem is that people are fixated on the rapid shutter function. If they don't focus, and just tap tap tap, they are doing it wrong, and will most likely get blurry pics. Also the proper mode selection, and the use of flash are important for photography in general. Fast reply, love that!

In my opinion... the only advantage of the "Galaxy Nexus" is that It's the first device to get Android 4.0 ICS !! Other devices are getting it after 3 Months+ !! Once the SGS II or the Galaxy Note get ICS they will beat the Nexus ;) !!

@dmnr3667 pffff....... htc wildfire is a really bad way to experience android dude if u got the oportunity to change it for another device do it really wildfire is an extremely crappy phone nowadays and theres really no way to make it a LOT faster, u will still get horrendous lags is some cases, some apps wouldnt run on it etc.

Do you think it can run ICS?

Nice video as always but I think one of the most important things was overlooked about video recording. Whenever I watch 1080p Galaxy Nexus videos on Youtube, as people move the camera in different directions there seems to be a wave/fish bowl effect. Would you by chance know if this is a hardware or software issue? It's actually a deal breaker for me and this phone...

Thumbs up, great review. One very important (I think) feature I noticed is that the shutter button is two stage just like many new digital cameras. Hold to focus, release to shoot. Seems to help me a lot with focus.
