I wish Bob Sweet was still with us. He was a great guy who made some great pedals. I have Pro Bender #21 (Love that thing - Killer Tonebender MKII). I wonder how many he actually made. I'm sure he made even less Pi Faces. And BTW, as far as I know, this is a straight-up clone of the original '70's Big Muff (which era, I'm not sure... Probably ram's head) and NOT a combo of the Muff and the Fuzz Face. Bob's fuzzes were meant to be faithful replicas of his favorite old-school fuzz-pedal circuits.

this pedal reminds me of the cool fall Oregon nights i used to spend all curled up in the arms of a sweet chica diablo. a soft wind would blow and i would shed one tear and she would ask me what was wrong and i'd reply, "nothing, nothing at all". the night was my only true friend.

What's this guy supposed to be, anyway? A Muff with the tone knob t aken out completely, like how some Muffs have the tone bypass option? I do like it, but hopefully the Devi Ever Hyperion will fix up my fuzz needs well enough.

.....the whole feedback bit sounded really sexual and awkward, btw....

The Hyperion kicks royal ass, especially if you hit it with an OD (or another fuzz, for that matter) or something to keep the gate open.

well...it's two different boxes for me...number one fave is the Analogman Sunface NKT's.....but a close second, is the Barber Trifecta....which is totally different...I'm also quite fond of the London Fuzz, the new Big Muff with Tone/Wicker, and the Fulltone 69....but if I could only have one, (and thank God that's not the case!) it's the AM NKT...for now!
