We didn't have a camera crew at every possible airport on his flightpath in-case something like this happened. And if this were to happen for real, the aircraft landing would be told to make a go-around and chose to either stay in pattern till the obstruction is clear, or divert to another airport.

As a major aviation lover, this is so awesome to see a good humor take on Airships. Seeing the difficulties he faced and how he overcame them was great; this is true airmanship, but to do it in a camper attached to a hot air ballon takes it all. Even more so, is when he drifted into controlled airspace. It appears he didn't get arrested or fined (this was not stated), nor did the F16 pilots buzz him with thumbs on the triggers. Okay, the police helicopter did buzz him, but he still flew away...
