I had this model, I bought it in the mid-70s for $100, worked great for a long time, but got the "cataracts" creeping in on the edges, I guess you fixed it on this set, always loved the color and tint knobs with the colors on em.
It's ironic that excerpt from "THE FLINSTONES" is seen in color here, because when that episode first aired in 1960, it was telecast in black & white; ABC did not have color broadcast facilities until the fall of 1962, so the series was "officially" seen in color from its third season on- you had to wait until your local station began showing color prints of the first two seasons, in syndication, the fall of 1966, around the time of Dean's duet with Louis on his show.
Anyone remember those large special Plastic Sheets that were made to put on a B&W Tv and make it look like a Color TV set?

I first saw "TV on TV" in this little club on NY's lower east side.
Of course, the cops raided the place, and it closed shortly thereafter.
