  • Was Dave hittin' that?

Probably not, but I'm sure he took a shot...

  • I first saw Teri Garr on Star Trek in 1967. She was so unique and appealing you just couldn't take your eyes off her. I've been in love with her ever since. I was employed at a restaurant in NYC in 1986 and she came in to dine, unfortunatly it was my day off so my co-workers told her that I was her biggest fan and that I would flip if she would give me her autograph. She did and it read...Dear Brian, I'm sorry but I never give autographs to anyone, Your friend, Teri Garr (Teri I love You)

  • On some clips she resembles Martha Stewart.

  • Great footage. More full interviews would be great! Would love to see her apperances on Politically Incorrect.

  • I first noted Teri in "Fresno" the "Dallas" type send up. I would like to see that again. It was shown in UK, quite a long series. When you see her in serious roles you would never guess she did comedy. Some say many straight actors would love to do comedy. I think her role in Fresno is what I like to remember about her best. Her most serious role I saw was the war drama, ( a plot to kidnap Prince Edward?)

  • Yep, me too. Big Teri Garr fan. This brings back good memories. I first saw her on The Sonny & Cher show, where she always stole the scenes from Cher in the Laundramat scenes. Thanks for the upload!

  • Please post one of your full Letterman clips of Teri Garr. Just one.

  • Thanks for posting, says another 40something with a lifelong crush on Terri Gari...Quite a package...Can you imagine having dinner with her and not be able to stop smiling? I didn't see what I was looking for - a clip of her on the old TV sitcom, Room 222...I think I saw her in that while she was on a late-night talk show, about 10,000 years ago...(thanks for posting!)

  • Ageing with class is a talent in the business of show. Gr8 tribute to a GREAT woman. I had lunch with Terri Garr around 1972 I was invited to the set of SONNY AND CHER. She was eating in the commissary babysitting chastity. I knew her from STAR TREK and IT TAKES A THIEF. I was 15 and she was extremely gracious friendly and beautiful. I remember thinking I hope one day she does something big enough so when I tell people about this they well know who I am talking about. Thanxx Terri

  • Thanks for posting this. The song made me sad, though.

  • Thanks for all the great clips. I forgot how unbelievably sexy she was on all those Letterman and Carson appearances. She's such a great actress. Decades from now like so many of Hollywoods great actresses that didn't get the recognition they should have,Teri will have new fans that fall in love with her talent, humr and beauty. Her appeal is timeless and thanks to her films will live forever. She's one of the best !

  • Yeah. I fell in love with her from watching her on Letterman. Smart, flirty, funny and a little ditzy. Qualities I still find sexy. My wife dosen't understand why I had/have a crush on her. I think I'll show her this clip. Thanks for putting this up.

  • You're not alone pal...To this day my wife still doesn't get the attraction of Teri Garr. (But we get it don't we ?)...

I just don't keep bring it up to my wife whenever I happen to catch a movie of hers on the tube...and after all, she is the first love of my life......Teri might just be second....Nice talkin to ya.....

  • I gotta say, I had such a huge crush on her when I was a little kid, what a sexy lady. She had eyes that smiled and flirted to ya.

  • Still good lookin.

  • she was so hot. Close Encounters is awsome, as is Tootsie and Young Frankenstien!

  • I too am a big Teri Garr fan. The first time I saw her on star trek you knew she'd be a big star. Close in Counters of the Third Kind, Tootsie, Young Franenstein and the list goes on.

  • Thanks for posting! I've always been a big fan of Teri Garr's.

    Beautiful, talented and courageous.

  • I am looking for Teri's opening number at the 1985 Oscar's and have been for a long time. If you have it please post it. Great tribute to her.
