@yamahapwns Umm... I wanted to stretch my legs?? There's not rocks and small bumps that aren't so visible. Didn't know I'd ever have to justify that...
Nice video dude! so glad to see some one actually giving the bike a bit of stick most of other helmet cam vids on here have pussy clots riding slow or in straight lines, cool back yard 2 stroke screamer all the way ;-)
@anthonyskibbles Im19 and 6ft 200 so not too far from you and I got a low hour '03 CR 250 with a pipe and air cleaner and im more than used to it now but when I first got it last summer it sure felt like a handful and Ive ridden a couple 450s and no comparison these bikes love to spin more and take alot more control than alot of other 250s and especially 450s but if you've been on a full size dirt bike before it shouldn't take you too long to warm up to it. This guy has pretty good control.
@anthonyskibbles no i had my 250r three wheeler first so I was kinda used to the power and i had a cr 80 when I was younger and i rode alot of other friends bikes so yeah if I had started on that bike im pretty sure it would've scared the hell outta me lol but i still think youd warm up to it just fine because in my opinion a 125 is fine but it still lacks torque for guys above 200 pounds and you get alot more acquainted with the clutch.
hi everyone im 6 years old and i race a full blown pro circuit cr250r im soo cool and im soo fast and my bike is faster then everyones on youtube it goes 300km/hr and i do my own top and button end rebuilds :D yay
I might be moving to Safford, AZ. Is there a mx track in stafford. I tried to google it, but most tracks seemed to be more than an hour away. How is the trail riding there?
@sancho184 We had an MX track there about 3 years ago, but it got shut down. Trail riding is ok if you know where to go. Most tracks are 2 hours away, your closest being PMP in Tucson. The MX industry just doesn't get enough support down there.
man you got some sweet bikes.... gotta love the old 2 strokes the things rip hhaha i have an 01 cr 125 and i love it i can never seem to give it up hahha
@LilPainzSRE It depends if the bike has stock handlebars, pegs, and seat. If so, you will probably have a hard time being comfortable on it. But then again, if you can afford to buy taller bars and/or a tall seat you'd be fine. I just didn't want to do that at the time.
@Brahpppp No i just didn't fit on it too well, as you can see by my knees practically touching the handlebars. My point for selling my 450 and buying this was to save money. When I realized I needed to spend money on this one to make it comfortable, I went looking for something else. My rm144 has different pegs, triple clamps and bars.
@Brahpppp I bought and sold it last summer. Bought it for $2,500 or $2,600.. Sold it for $2,200 I think. It literally only last 8 hours on craigslist.
@Stealthswim23 Pinn it to win it! :-D No really, just try to be smooth. Especially like in this video where the dirt is really dry, you have to really finess these 2 strokes
@zook62 thanks bro, i have only been to a track twice, ill just get more used to the bike ya know? but like i feel like i shift gears too soon cuz the power band makes me feel like the bike is about to explode lol
@Stealthswim23 Yea you've got to learn how to let it live in the powerband. Sometimes you have to roll it on to avoid wheel spin and all, but if you're hooking up well, you want to keep it on as much as possible and control how much power goes to the ground with the clutch.
@kikapoo01 If you're looking for one a bit cheaper than the Go Pro then look into the ATC3K from Oregon Scientific. The sound can be a bit iffy but it is waterproof and the video quality is on the same level as this video.
I got it a few weeks ago and it's pretty nice; it comes with both a helmet and a handlebar attachment. I should have a video or two uploaded in the next few weeks using it when the weather gets better.
Is there some sort of video stabilization with that camera? If you watch the uppper half of the screen only, it's pretty smooth. If you watch the bike, it's taking a pounding.
I'd move back in with my parents if they had a nice riding area out back like that.
DO IT!! I never left, I almost bought a drz 400 but then i got my 04 cr 250, best choice of my life! (then i got my vfr. A real street bike and a real dirtbike the only way 2 go)
sweet getting mine back next week big end went con rod broke and fu*ckd up the cylinder head and piston well so i was told its costing me 980euros to fix it but worth every penny
250's are a lot stronger than 125's when both are in stock form. In my case I went from a stock 250 to a fully built 125(144), and I think I'm just as fast or faster on the 125. Top end pull of the built 125 is a little better than that of the stock 250.
might look cool, but trust me it gets boring quick. When ran beginner class it was fun cause i could actually work on stuff out there, but now I end up just looking for crazy ways to go around there to mix it up
will those bush things do anything to ur bike if u hit them?
