I live in Chicago,IL in the US and british people rock, your so imaginative and...amazing! I luv Dr. Who and i watch on BBC America...amazing! matt smith rockzzz! thumbs up if you wish u were a brit!
@WhiteSox2447 I second that for so many reasons! I love Brit shows: Doctor Who, EastEnders, Keeping Up With Appearances!! UK movies are great too! Virgin Queen, Father & Son...I better stop, I could go on and on. I really love how much more integrated Brit entertaiment is too! Really wish I was a Brit. From one American to another, I agree with you :)
She's going to be an excellent companion - and it's good to have a sense of some real intelligence for our next Companion. It'll give the scriptwriters a bit more scope for a little further explanation occasionally (hopefully). I loved this episode, and did you all get the reference to the hospital shop?
She is the equivalent of a USA in the UK. She would have completed six years of med school and now is doing her clinical or she wouldn't be allowed to touch the patient. I have to look up the correct term. But Martha tells the Doctor in Episode that she worked A&E which is accident and emergency.

Is that a tattoo on her left shoulder?

Yup, she's supposed to be a doctor. Doctor's normally don't like tattoos

She's a trainee - she says that she hasn't passed her exams yet.
