  • this song is awesome, i dont care what people say Pluto will ALWAYS be a planet to me, size doesnt matter so ya everyone tell nasa to make pluto a planet again

  • someone understands me XD

  • I've watched this in English Biology class...

    Dessaignes, Blois.

  • ... I cried.

  • when i become president my first official order will be to make pluto a planet again

  • Lol our science teacher showed us this video today and i love it!!

  • DEAR VIEWERS,

FOR ASTONISHING FACTS, JUST TYPE ON THE SEARCHING BOX:

    Quran and Science

SEVEN PARTS! YOU MUST LIKE THEM!

  • Oh yeah... Now they wanna make an asteroid in the asteroid belt a planet...

  • I sing this song everywhere.

  • I like it reminds me of songs from the early 1970s like "Alone Again, Naturally". Although I learned there were nine planets in our star system, I'm rather ambivalent about Pluto being demoted. It IS rather small and has an odd orbit. On the other hand, I've always thought certain asteroids (like Ceres) and moons (like Titan and Ganymede) should be considered planets. Perhaps other planets will be found that orbit the sun, but probably not.

  • The only real reason Pluto got demoted is IAU scientists are too damn lazy to add other smaller planetoids to the textbooks

  • OMG THIS SONG WILL BE THE TOP OF THE CHARTS ONE DAY!! YOU WILL ALL SEE! XD

  • Great video and song for this timeline.

  • Seriously, what does calling a dwarf planet a non-planet say about those people's opinions about human dwarves? Are vertically challenged people not really people? Then what defines a person?

The whole removal of "real" status is ludicrous.

  • Amen! Make Pluto a planet again! Next, it will probably be Mercury.

  • I LOVE YOU PLUTO! COME BACK TO US!

  • If chocolate isn't a treat anymore that means that sweets aren't treats which means there vegetables which means that vegetables are treats but no one likes the taste of every vegetable which means that nothing is right which means I don't know what I'm talking about..... This means I must be called 772233eramthgin. This calls for a BIG SCREAM AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGG

  • I love Pluto it's just so cool... And thats offensive to small things... Thats like saying chocolate is no longer a treat. That doesn't make sense

  • @nightmare332277 Chocolate isn't a treat to some people. (Though to me it is.) It's a necessity, like air and if cheesecake to the women on "the Golden Girls"... :-)

  • the only other dwarf planet bigger than Pluto is Eris and I think Pluto needs to be a planet when my science was teaching us about planets we all started asking each other what their favorite planet is I said "Pluto and don't say Pluto isn't a planet because it was and always will be a PLANET to me."

  • * sniffle * Pluto is a planet, and always will be! It's not Pluto's fault that it's so small!

  • Dear NASA,

Your mom thought I was big enough

    Signed, Pluto

  • if pluto isn't a planet than midgets aren't people

  • i belive in pluto, he will ALWAYZ be PLANEt TO ME!

  • After all the years of public education telling me pluto was a planet , and now it's not .

I now doubt every thing they ever taught me . Hey maybe earth is not a planet ?

Maybe it's flat after all !

  • SO WHAT IF IT IS SMALL AND IT'S ORBIT IS WEIRD, NO-ONE WANTS TO ERASE URANUS' TITLE FOR THE "UR ANUS" JOKES DO THEY? OR JUPITER FOR BEING TOO BIG, SATURN FOR IT'S RINGS AND MERCURY FOR BEING TO CLOSE TO THE SUN!

  • Pluto should never have been considered not to be a planet for any perceived inconsistencies in size because:

1 It has been a planet historically long enough.

    Hmmm, thats about it.

Its a planet, the bigger asteroids are not planets - they never were thought of as planets, it is not confusing!

If the only reason is some perceived inconsistency then what about the differences in English spelling?

Should we force them damn Americans to spell colour like so? :)

  • The reason Pluto seems so small is that it is very far away from the Earth. Things that are far away always seem smaller than they really are. In real life, Pluto is (presumably) much larger than Earth.

  • Thank you for the Pluto Song. I added your youtube to my favorites. I will Always believe Pluto to be a planet. Pluto was discovered in 1930. It is up to the nay Sayers to provide proof since Pluto was a planet since 1930. Pluto also rotates on its axis and revolves around the sun. My school's definition of a planet. Only 1/6 of the IAU even voted the demotion of Pluto. The Pro-Pluto side was never aloud to state their case. Your song will always be cool by me. Way to go!

  • @LorettaAnakin well that means your going have to add thousands of KBO's to the planet list then as they fit your school definition of a planet. In fact one of those KBO is larger than Pluto. Infact our moon is bigger than pluto. Just because it been listed as a planet since 1930 does not mean we need to find proof it isnt a planet it failed the criteria to meet the definition of a planet. Once upon time the Sun and the Moon were list as planets. The solar system order changes as we learn more.

  • @ZombiesAteMyKat If Pluto lost for real scientific reasons I could except the change but it was handled unscientifically. It was a last minute vote held after most of the membership went home. In America this is called a "Midnight" Bill. When the Pro-Pluto astronomers wanted the right to state their case, they were denied. There is a probe on it's way out there to determine the status of Pluto. Why can't the IAU wait for actual observable facts on Pluto to come to light?

  • I have no problem with Pluto being a Dwarf Planet. In fact I think it makes it more interesting also if Pluto is to be a planet then we would need to premote many hundred of TNO's to planet statis as many are similiar size to pluto and Eris is actually larger.

  • @ZombiesAteMyKat Sedna is also bigger than Pluto. So I have no problem with adding Sedna and Eris to our solar system. Jupiter has 62 bodies that are in it's orbit. Hence it did not clean up it's orbit but Jupiter is not kicked out. IAU said Pluto did not clean up it's orbit.

  • @LorettaAnakin well at least your trying to be scientific about it. many people just attach false sentiment to pluto, before the IAU decission they could not give a monkeys about pluto either way and more outrage by the fact it was discovered by a american and how dare they demote it. personally I see nothing wrong with it being called a dwarf planet and scientific names for things change constantly . Althrough calling jupiter a DWARF planet might be pushing it.

  • @LorettaAnakin Technically, neither Earth, nor Mars, Jupiter, or Neptune have cleared their orbits. Looks like some people forgot to take everything into consideration before making their decision...

  • @SpaceTime4D Good point all the facts must be considered before changing the status of Pluto. That is why I am waiting the New Horizon probe sent by NASA. After Pluto is actually seen and analyzed then it's actual status will be known be scientific evidence. Science is always decided by observable facts no matter what you feel.

  • Pluto is a planet and I don't care what the fucktards at NASA say.

  • @Trance1972 NASA did not demote Pluto. The IAU did. NASA is sending a probe out which is at least objective.

  • @kissemurra12 Finally we're getting more of academia to post on our video. It appears all those kickbacks we've been sending Barry Obama are finally paying off, or at least they'd be paying off if you counted each tenured professor's comment as $100,000

So thankyou, kind professor, for your payment of $100,000. Know that neither Tim nor I accept any form of currency, and instead prefer to be paid by the relative em-poorer-ing of the rest of the world's population. How great a gift, indeed

  • @blewjello Then I am glad you admit you were wrong and that the currency is 200.000 per paymant that we added to your proffesor counttsss. I cant bge usingggg more , as you do though since i am not truly an american yet since they tend to use more commas and ,,.

I do concur your idea of "has anyone ever done as far as done as gone?" it proves in your lectures that pluto is not a planet, just after you mentioned jews control the economy. those pesky jews must be dealt with!

  • I Rofl'd and Lmao'd non-stop at the last picture.

  • I will always love you Pluto....

  • COMING SOON ... "The Revenge of Pluto"

  • so thats were duke nukem went

  • Bad news folks....I just returned from "planet" Pluto & I must say the customer service is terrible, not to mention the primitive accomodation & sub-standard broadband connection speeds. Oh, & don't get me started on the smell; what the hell is that??

Those Plutonians have a lot to answer for. Good riddance I say.

  • @ShynAwkward Anyone who's been to Pluto knows it's actually, "Good Riddins." The Riddins were a race of over-beasts that spent their entire space-lives building the galactic ropes, which every school children know pulls planets around the Sun. The plutoans were so thankful that they all said, "Good job, you Riddins." And, as you now well have guessed, the phrase caught on like a tired game hen.

Why, i'm starting to think you haven't even BEEN to Pluto...

  • @blewjello Where did you learn that information? Are you friends with a Plutonian?

  • @ShynAwkward dont put quotes ITS A PLANET VOTE SHALL NOT SETTLE THIS

    THIS MEANS WAR!!!!

  • Poor Pluto. You'll always be a planet to me...

  • It's okay pluto, I'm not a planet either D: I understand how you feel!

  • Good-bye Pluto !

  • why pluto? its almost the size of mercury

  • pluto is so a planet

  • I miss Pluto for now.. :(

  • R.I.P. Pluto

  • poor pluto

  • Pluto will always be a planet to me.

  • its kinda boring it needs more cxomedy

  • STAND UP FOR PLUTO! You know what those sientists are doing by kicking Pluto out of our solar sytem?! THEIR BULLING IT! IT was created by god for a reason! Are we jsut goign to kick away gods creation?! if god were to kick us off into space by ourselves wed deserve it! because thats what WE did to Pluto! Post this anywehre you can adn show them that Pluto is a Planet and we want it back! FOR PLUTO!

  • Amazing Song!! Love it! Pluto will be always be a planet in my house

  • yes the IAU is whacked!

  • Thank you for writing and posting this song on YouTub. Pluto is my favorite planet. And like you I hope we get Pluto put back in it's rightful spot as the 9th planet in our solar system. The IAU got rid of Pluto by Unscientific means. Pluto has not cleaned up it's orbit, well it now seems that neither has Jupiter. So do we kick out Jupiter as well or do we come to our senses and bring back PLUTO!!!

  • I just LOVE this song!! I've listened to it about 1000 times, and I can't stop! (And no, I'm not kidding... I really do love it!) Thank you so much blewjello for writing it and posting it youtube! Go Pluto!

  • Let it be known: this song is great. Tim and Chuck are great--each taller than a thousand sunrises. And Pluto is great. Let us all just pray it can regrow its feathery coat.

  • I will always think of Pluto as a planet

  • I always think of pennies as those smelly mesh-vests i had to wear when i was in 2nd grade gym class.

  • Yeahhhaaahhh!!! THat's right, Pluto IS a planet. Pluto is also a dog and the GOD of hell lol. Not only that, but plutonium is an element :o So why can't it be a planet? Because the IAU is straight up WHACK

  • From what I heard, Walt Disney named the dog Pluto after the planet. But the Planet Pluto was named after Hades (a.k.a god of the underworld). That would be like naming someone in a kids cartoon "Satan."

  • its orbit was also a facter. I think thats dumb because it has a diffrent orbit its MORE of a planet(from the greek word planis, wanderer)

  • i love the planet pluto.

  • I believe Pluto should be kept on as a planet in memory of Clyde Tombaugh. He spent years taking photos and comparing them, one against another, before finding the planet he knew would be there. Today, this image comparison is done by computer with much better photography and much better optics. Tombaugh did the hard work the hard way. He and Pluto deserve their rightful places, even if it's "just" a dwarf... it was the first of the dwarf planets to be discovered. Let it stay!

  • pluto is a planet my dad is doin research on it right now at nasa

  • BRING MY PLUTO BACK!! :( Straight up! The I.A.U. IS whack!! I bet if everyone protested enough, they would do something. just because its smaller doesnt mean it cant be a planet! thats ridiculous. Pluto has been a planet for a long time and now they think they can just say hes not!?!!!

  • pluto is a dwarf planet it use to be a star and was went small and just stay out there pluto was a sun.

  • plz bring my pluto bak the iau ts strait up wak..... lol XD

  • Yes! Pluto is awesome!

  • poor pluto

  • EXCEPT ITS NOT A PLANET NOW!

  • Nice Job.!Very good song!!! Pluto is the best planet in the solar system and it should be accepted back.

  • Pluto is a planet!

  • Semper Fi Pluto

  • THIS WAS SO REALIZETIC!

  • If your song weren't free, it would suck.

Maybe you missed whatever grade it is that they teach general measurement of elapsed time, but June isn't a season. Duh!

  • @swajsofa I feel terrible. We should go back and re-record this song, you and I. Listen son--may i call you "Son,"--ok, thanks. Anyway, expect an email from my record-producer some time soon, son. You've always been a good child. Your mother is nice, i suppose. Go Terps.

  • OMG! DONT WORRY PLUTO YOU STILL HAVE FRIENDS!!!!!!

*Gets gun out and aims at scientists* Okay so who helped declassify pluto huuuh!!!

  • I hate people who confuse asterisks with actually doing stuff because all it really proves is that there's really no chance you're ever going to do that. Pisses me off. *Grabs DunneBroProductions by shoulders and kicks repeatedly in genital area*

  • some people cant take a joke! -Shoots Swajsofa-

  • Pluto will always be a planet:)

And welcome to the newcomers of our solar system.

  • He is a pround member of the Kuiper Belt family.

And still you do him wrong and call him names like "planet".

He is happy with his family and is not as lonely as we claimed he was.

He is not a dwarf anymore, but a big brother of the KBO family.

So do him a favor and stop hunting him for being something like a "planet".

  • pluto was a awsome planet it was small and ice whats cooler than that

  • LMFAOOOOOOO!!!! I too agree Pluto is still a planet. I love this song...awesome...

  • all women know.....SIZE MATTERS....... even Viagra could not help Pluto

  • He is BIG.

    One of the biggest KBO's.

He just is not a planet.

Just like your nose is big, but it does not make you a big man.

  • Save Pluto! Mauna Kea loves you still!!

    Jen and Rae

  • Save the Earth!

Pluto is in a safe distance to mankind.

  • When it was discovered, it was thought to be the size of the Earth. It later turns out to be two smaller objects (Pluto and Charon) with greater than normal brightness. It's status as a planet was called into question when Kupier Belt objects of similar size were discovered. It made since to me to reclassify Pluto.

  • Right.

The found out is not a small planet, but a BIG KBO.

He was accused of being a planet, but found innocent.

That is not a bad verdict.

  • It was discovered nearly 80 years ago and at least three generations grew up learning that there were nine planets. Was it's minute size its eventual downfall, as even our moon is apparently bigger.

  • Hey can i get lyrics of this song?

  • at least he has friends in the kuiper belt. :'( *sniff*

  • we watched this in science and i loved it.

thee reason why pluto isnt a planet is cause its orbit. it cirss-crosses with neptunes.

  • what school do u go to cuz i did today too

  • escobedo.

  • is awsome

  • Aww come on now thats an excuse for Pluto not being a Planet? I mean it has an atmosphere and Mercury doesn't...Pluto should be a planet then. Maybe Pluto is a moon of Neptune that got so far it decided to orbit the sun instead :)

  • One flaw with that logic:

If Pluto Cross Neptune, clearly Neptune Crosses Pluto. So why is Neptune a Planet? Just because Neptune is bigger?

  • well, theres more then one reason.

the IAU states that, a planet is a celestial body that :

is in orbit with the sun,

has sufficient mass to assume hydrostatic equilibrium (a nearly round shape), and

has "cleared the neighbourhood" around its orbit.

  • we watched this today in my science class XD

  • haha oh lol this is funny :)

we're putting it in our science project about pluto :D

    Too cool (H)

    x

  • Actually, Clyde Tombaugh was cremated, and the ashes were put aboard the New Horizons spacecraft, which will be the first probe to reach Pluto. Tombaugh deserves to visit the world he first found, even if it is a demoted world.

  • i love this song ... although it makes me sad... i also grew up with pluto as our 9th planet....

i mean in all the projects i made he was the last one but not the least important... now he is even lonenier than b4....

i also watch this in my astronomy class... and all of us in the class agree ... bring my pluto back... n gud song

  • Don't *sniff* worry, Pluto *sniff* has tons of *sniff* friends in the *sniff* Kuiper Belt.

  • Pluto is not the only demoted planet.Earth is one too.The definition says so.We only have 4 planets.Jupiter saturn uranus and neptune.

  • Actually, according to the current definition, the planets are Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Uranus. Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune, technically speaking, were also demoted. It's just those scientists won't admit it.

  • oh no in my book pluto will always be planet how about you?

  • Yes

  • yes

  • 1:32

    poor dog,

    poor planet.

    xD

  • I wonder why Walt Disney named the dog Pluto...

I know it was to celebrate the discovery of Pluto, but considering it was named after a god of death...

Maybe not the brightest of moves...

  • omg my teacher showed this to us in class because we r learning about the plants and every 1 was laughing so hard!!!!! i <3 it!!!!

  • I love learning about pluto!!

  • OMG wow. This is so lame. But I love it anyway. It made me lawl. xP 5 stars

  • I love it. Great job on the piano and everything.

  • so sad...poor pluto

  • you can download the song for free if you click the link in the more info box.

you should probably just memorize it, so you don't have to keep clicking the link.

  • I have memorized it stupid. How could I not memorize the best song on you tube?

  • Blewjello, I'd like to commission you to write more planet songs. I think it is what the world needs more of. Unfortunately, all I have to give is hugs. Do you accept hugs?

  • Comment removed

  • yo i think this is the best movie on you tube. Good job blewjellow, please make lots more of these great "planet theme" movies, I will watch them all day long!

  • Hey, Why not make Eris a planet too rather than downgrade pluto?

  • cuz, they hadn'r cleared their neborhood

  • u are bad

  • how?

  • poor pluto

  • *cries for pluto*

  • beautiful song, i feel sorry for our wonderful 9th planet "PLUTO",to be rejected by those who were never interested in planetary astronomy, and history of discovery! shame on them!

  • I love this video and song and totally agree!!! I not long ago finished doing a video on the so called 'Dwarf Planet Pluto', and when i finished it, all i could think was this is totally wrong. Bring Pluto back!!! Thanks for making and sharing this video. Great video, Great song, Great message! All the best and a Happy 2009 to you all! AggManUK. :O)

  • cool and true

  • yeah.. just see the vid. and amazed!

  • U guys stop posting all these bad comments.. you are just insulting the creator of this vid who obviously worked hard on dis... you should be grateful he even posted this fantastic video!

  • "dis" isn't a word just like Pluto isn't a planet

  • awesome comments, everyone. your knowledge of the space planets is inspiring and pleasing to us all. your commitment to scholarly discourse is triumvirate.

about the recent discussion on uranus. all of you are right in your own unique ways. however, you are all very wrong in that you aren't talking about how great our song/video is. you still have lots more to work on. no, not yet. not good enough. still no good.

  • lol uranus is next? i dont think so. uranus has the enough masses and a right orbit to be a planet.

  • maybe uranus but what about myanus

  • you are stupid, you obviously don't know anything about the order of the planets because it there was another planet to leave after pluto it would probably be NEPTUNE!!! not uranus, mada mada dane

  • I like Pluto :( He wouldnt want to be back in our group of snubby planets. He's happy just hanging with Charon, Nix and Hydra.:)

  • URANUS IS NEXT!

  • I'm not sure about that, and I don't want to lose any planets besides Uranus and Pluto are my favorites.

  • moron, you obviously don't know the order of the planets because uranus would not be next, it would be neptune, so i don't know where you're getting uranus is next, perhaps after neptune.

  • is it true that pluto intersects another planets orbit. if so, is their a chance that one day they will hit each other?

  • Not actually... What it is true it that Pluto's orbits is a half farther than the Sun that Neptune, and a half closer. What I mean is that Pluto moves from outside Neptune's orbit to inside, so, there is a moment when they are at the same distance from the Sun. However, Pluto's orbit is at a diferent angle than Neptune's, so there's no chance of a collition: they orbit don't cross each other. I hope I helped you.

  • what are the lyrics to this? I love it!

  • u no pluto could rise again if it hits some of the asteroids and builds up to a normal planet size then it'd be promoted well see you in 150,million years to see how ya did pluto lol

  • If it hits asteroids it will become smaller, trust me.

  • Asshole scrotum scratching astronomers with fuck all else to do except tool around with WHAT IS! Get a life you freakin' dicks and tool around with yourselves for a change (like have a prick party and give yourselves a group frontal lobotomy)

Leave what we have learnt and grown up with ALONE!

  • drarf planets and any type of other planet all have one thing in one common: they're fucking planets! ceres, eris, pluto, all planets! compare earth with ceres, were planets. neptune, eres, fucking planets! i say, planets are what they are and if we humans are too much of dumb fucks to relize, then here's a wake up call. PLANETS ARE FUCKING PLANETS! CAN'T CHANGE THE FACTS!

  • If you say planets are fucking planets means you are living on a fucking planet. Then you should live in stars.Think First!

  • i like it when pluto is called planet

  • Really?Cool!

  • yeah the iau is full of shit like a christmas turkey. pluto is a planet and always will be a planet. i say they should put aris in the club also. this is though just my opinion.

  • I actually like the whole idea of dwarf planets. But great video anyway.

  • "Uranus is next" LMAO :D

  • well done

  • PLUTO + us = it GETS FUCK UP lol

  • poor pluto

  • if anyone tries to buy the song and it doesn't work for any reason, we'll send it to you for free.

for that matter, if you just want the song, we'll send it to you for free. just send us a message and we'll give you the tune.
