  • Great video, love it! I have a question, can you wash your hair with the dreads braided in??

  • HEJJ!! are you danish :D?

  • do you know anything about the braiding method??

  • yes, actually you can do dreads with all types of hair, no matter your race, hair type, whatever.... dreads come naturally if you do not brush your hair, but must keep hair clean, they dread better and faster.

  • Haha, du lyder meget dansk. XD god video.

  • @KarinaFlyvholm

    Ja, meget dansk :D

  • Riktigt snyggt! Grymt tips!

  • I don't think its a stupid question. My bands didn't wear out.

  • This may be a really stupid question, but how do they stay in for such a long time with just mere rubber bands? Don't the bands wear out quite fast?

  • I made 80-90.

  • hi, how many dreads have you maked, approximatelt? ^^

  • wait you can have dreads with straight hair?

  • No not all by myself, I got some help from my mom. :)

  • did u install them all yourself?

  • Heeij :D

Jeg ville bare hører om, hvor du køber det hår henne?

Og kan man få det i flere farver?

  • Hey! I'm happy to know that you liked the advice :). The time taken to remove the dreads is somewhat the same. My hair did look damaged when I removed the dreads (but not so damaged that I wouldn't install dreads again), and I did have a hard time removing them - so haven't got any advices in that direction.

  • Wow..... that is friggin awesome advice. i've installed my dreads 2 different times, and i hated how everything always looked so separated. i never thought to do this. does it make it more or less time consuming when you havet o take them out? and did removing the dreads from your hair damage your hair at all? i have a hard time removing them when its time to.

  • When I do it you can see the loops at the top of my head...

  • let me ask you something why you cut your hair????does sintetic dreads damage your hair???

  • her hair was always like that lol. look at her other vid.

  • Jeg skal også have SE dreads n_n' for mit hår total fucked up i:

  • wow thats fantastic. this is so the best vid i have seen on how to put them in.

    thank you xxxxxxxxx

  • dreads are fake:(?

  • Greetings from Germany ;)

Thank you for showing us how to do it! I will also do it very soon, this is why i needed to know.

    Jenny

  • me too :D

(may one of us could do a tutorial on german xD)

  • Great video, I've been meaning to try but my hair is down to my waist.. so I'm not sure how it would actually look? Probably not so good!

  • as an alternative to real dreads you could have braids. I did this to my friends hair as hers is the same lenght as yours.

take the fake hair and band it to a strand of your hair as you would band in the dread. then plait it down past your real hair then you burn the tip and twist it.

you get great results with it i promise.

  • thanks! It was hard to find out how to put them in :p
