edwards/ keselowski #1? shouldn't even be in the top ten. and if they'll put the irl race where the top 2 ran out of gas, put in nascar michigan in '09 when mark martin won. and where is the '06 indy 500? and if i made a list of the top HUNDRED motorsports finishes, i wouldn't include #7. i don't know what they were thinking with that one. well, that is just how pathetic espn/ abc is.
nascar finishes are very exciting....f1...not so much. but they missed ALOT of indycar finishes. the indycar ones they showed on road courses arent that exciting but there are so many indycar finishes on ovals that are extremely close and exciting. look up "indycar chicagoland 2003" watch the whole video, its well worth your time if you like racing. and its probably the one of the best finishes in auto racing history.
Kurt Busch and Ricky Craven at Darlington in '03 HAS to be #1....That was instant classic.
Others I think of...Labonte/Earnhardt Atlanta 2000....Harvick/Gordon Atlanta 2001...Park/Labonte Rockingham 2001...Johnson/Edwards Atlanta 2005
and how many times in Texas or Chicagoland did it happen in the IRL? There was like a year in IRL where there was like 5 or 6 races decided on photo finish!
I totally agree. Kurt and Ricky had a hella crazy finish where they practically drove into each other on the final stretch, and Craven spun just as he crossed the finish line in 1st. Labonte/Earnhardt and Harvick/Gordon were VERY similar to one another, and both RCR cars ended up on top.
Two other ones I'd also add are the 2001 NAPA 500 (Nadeau runs out of fuel, Labonte wins) and 2003 Ford 400 (Elliott cuts tire on last lap, Labonte wins also)
Definitely Sebring 12h GT2 battle (Ferrari vs porsche)
Lewis Hamilton Brazilian GP 2008
Jenson button Canadian GP 2010
Le Mans 24H 2011 just for being epic

Most of the Indy and formula 1 finishes werent that exciting. There are definitely some more memorable NASCAR finishes than those.

The Carl Edwards flip at Talladega was amazing. By far one of the worst wrecks, and one of the best finish's in NASCAR history.

Mostly all CART and some weren't even close around like Darlington or Atlanta. If you notice like '95 Belle Isle.

Yea poor poor list, they should do one just for NASCAR and one just for open wheel.

That was the best finish in NASCAR I've seen yet, surprised it wasn't in the top 3, let alone the top 10.
