I came upon a cool tip recently and I thought I'd share with you. I suppose it's very likely you already do this. Through the use of smart objects, you can change to LAB, or any other mode, within the same PS file. Since you can edit the contents of SO, you can adjust these settings whenever. This opened up a lot of possibilities for me, at least!
@mikesavi To be honest I wasn't aware that you could do that. But now that I think about it of course. I mean you can embed a RAW file into a SO - so it makes sense you could the same to a colour space such as LAB.
Thanks for the tip I can't wait to try it out tomorrow. It will mean that I don't have to duplicate the image any more.
How do you know how much they spent on software? And why should I limit myself to a smaller group of people by using tools that they may or may not have.
I don't use my Wacom tablet in tutorials because the majority of people watching don't have one and benefit more by being shown techniques using the tools that they already have.

Do you work for Wacom?
