i also had this game as a kid and i still haven't finished it. its impossible to finish theres just not enough ammo to get you through to the end

Um, you DO know that you can select ammunition type with Select? ^^

Still, this game is hard as heck! Got it as a kid along with my first Game Boy and finally beat it after months where I didnT play anything else. From the 3rd level onwards, this game was madness incarnated >.<

@finnsia Lemme see...the boat was the 5th level, if I recall correctly. Basically, you use the radio on the boat to call for help after getting through all these lightning rooms.

Then, the final level. The rescue chopper you radio'd for is on its way, so you have to get to the helipad on top of a building. This level had you collect so many eggs and keycards, it was a nightmare. To add to that, the level was huge and confusing, often you had no F-ING idea where to go next. Truly shitty design.

@Darkwaver007 And when you manage to reach the heli pad, all you get is a stupid "You escaped the island and the dinos. As the chopper flies into the sunset you wonder what will happen next..." message. Cue credits. I shit you not, after all the insane stuff you have to go through, all you get is a "A winner is you!" ending.

@Darkwaver007 Thank you sir Darkwaver, fianlly some closure I had played it when I was really young so I have litter memory except that it was extremely difficult. Mostly annoying since the maps kept becomming bigger with every level, thanks again.

I highly recommend beating it at least once you get so much satisfaction as the game is very difficult

I don't think I ever beat the T-rex either, this game was indeed quite a bitch.  The player's reaction to his experience with the ? boxes is pretty funny in this one, especially because I had the same reaction. Aside from the few boxes in the first level that I learned were good, I just avoided the rest of them.

I could generally get past the triceratops easier than this, but I could never get past the T-Rex in the 2nd level, even with cheats and a walkthrough...

I wish I could. Maybe I can find a decent Gameboy emulator for the MAC and I can. MAC emulators are a pain to find, that save anyway.

Of course I could just get off my lazy ass and find my cartridge and try finishing the game. Which I actually did, but couldn't get passed the triceratops.  Apparently my video game skills didn't get better with age.

The reason I say that is because I think your play through of this game is the only one on youtube.  Also I had this game and you're right up to the point where I would always die and I never got to finish it. Good job so far on it, if you get the chance you should definitely finish.
