i just saw ashley. god dam. this is sad to say but this is a taste of the oldskool studio membership partys in hollywood before it died out. the hardest party in hollywood to get into. and they moved from studio to studio, stage to stage.....memories
Chico is the co writer of Bomboleo when he was with the Gipsy Kings,he helped write and promote the group,married one of their sisters and had a falling out with them and then started a Gipsy Village for the tourist and a place for his new band to play, it is still around in Arles
that is true as well,also his brother was killed by terrorist,I think he had a falling out with GK when they became popular and wanted to keep it all in the family..
Nice to see a video of Chico since he left the Gipsy Kings. He was very nice in person, the only one of the bunch who spoke English. It was not easy, though very delightful, communicating with them as their Spanish is spoken with a French accent. Some things do not need words to communicate, and music is the universal language.
