@clapady It's a bit hard for double bass player to play without drums songs like this one. I need to emulate drum feel on bass. We have only one version like with other songs and tempo was quite fast so I know maybe some places aren't perfect ;) Thanks for listening.
@ankhaton Beeing metronome not always make sense ;) I'll say it's even boring when rhythm is like generated by computer. Most important for band members and audience is to feel on stage connection between musicians and I think we have it :) This is improvised music so has to be tricky sometimes :D
@uprightbassmatt Yes - I agree - depends of the song - and lyric intermezzos are in : I HAVE NOT SAID A THING - - AND YES - THERE ARE GUYS USING AN OYASIS for all that or these programs like cubase - horrible but they have millions of vieuwers On Astra 23° is a channel 'DANCETV' - hearing that You really think that all is lost after GAGA in the 'music' world Therefore I am a fan of your trio - because it is ANALOGUE although brought to me in digits the first 15 CD years I bought zero
Hi! Congratulations from Brazil. Your first professional recording session is really professional and, above all, very nice.

@clapady - Right - it all has to do with the ""feel"" in his head - not 'metronome' but feel, like groove
-=-
I always fond difficult to determine the generator of the rhytm
It can be anybody - even the sax
In a perfect situation they have it all together but that's with Oscar-Ray, Petrucciani-Gary , ficten-Ella
Hiromi NOT for instance she is the dominante, Keith same even to much dominant
Nice discussion like where come the groove from
