gandrayda is a shapeshifting alien of unknown origion or race. although she is freindly to samus initialy, the two are shown to have a rivalry with eachother. gandrayda was among the first three hunters to awaken from the phazon coma, and was then sent to the pirate homeworld to destroy their phazon seed. like the others, she succumbed to the phazon as well, warping her sanity. however, she retained her cunning, and used a GDF disguise to get near and kill samus, failing like the others did.

I don't dislike her quite as much. all 3 of the hunters were controlled by dark samus, so you can't really be mad at them.

@SirZidane I hate to but in on a year old post but only Rundas was controlled by Dark Samus the others were merely corrupted.

@cyoshi0408 Really she was awesome but she could've used some work. Retro should've taken all of that work they put into Rundas and put it into Gandrayda and Ghor. I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of Gandrayda in the future though.
