So roughly since and a bit before 1990, I have been online. Working uploading 1000s of gigs of music and media evolving the net. All for free, while the fat cats live it up and take advange of the benefits. Who knows...? If it was not for me, my crew and the others I have come across in my past Google may have never existed at all. Or YouTube. So how is that for skills? Google and many other corporations don't seem so big now. We already know that the US government are wacked out.
See I don't like paying with my own money into a company such as comcast. Which makes millions of dollars yearly for what I consider mostly garbage TV. But see when a company like this can even supply the right equipment and tools, to perform a job I have issues. Even more so when I have worked for companies who make much less, who hooked us up with whatever we needed for the job. No questions asked.
I don't mind working. But damn how much should I work to power another persons ideal, greed, or dream? It does not require rocket science these days ladies and gentlemen. And we allow the money handlers to control everything. I am quite franky sick and tired of it. And it is pretty depressing having to reteach people repeated about some serious issues which need to be dealt with.
Pretty crappy when one gives up everything for the sake of those who already have much in this world. But hey it is the money and toys which define us right?
no it wouldnt sound good...it would be too noticeable..you need to use tracks between different tempos to slowly bring it down or slowly increase the speed so it flows and doesnt sound bad like to go from 132 to 138 Ill use 5 tracks
You gotta be kidding me..You're telling me you have never transition songs from 120 down to 90 by looping and pitch bending? This is just another transition effect. I understand everyone's preference is different but it sounds AMAZING if you do it right. You do NOT necessarily need 5 songs to go 5 bpms. Look up some tutorial techniques on James Zabiela. There are different ways to transition and depending on how you slow down or speed up a song, it builds and masters the scene of a track.
No I wouldnt do that...I dont know where you plan on playing using this method but is sure as hell doesnt work in a club, cause it looses a hell of a lot of energy FAST that way...
Ive been DJing clubs for a while and it always gets the crowd. I checked out your stuff, we have totally different music references. I usually do rnb, hiphop, house, and electronic. Im also from San Francisco. Perhaps thats why we have different preferences as well as cater to a different crowd/scene.
Yea and Im from Europe so dont be suprised if I have a different opinion...and I love progressive and moving the crowd too, just use a different method.
The fact that they carry on with there same non sense and garbage. Believing in there minds when people speak they mean nothing unless one has the views, or ranks to be listened too. When they continue on with the slavory game using people. But hey let's build another golf course, the world does not have enough of those already. Or maybe better yet multimillion dollar hotels which nobody can afford, while most just scrap by these days.
Much better effect is to using a loop with a length of 4, switch to 2 than 1 -> 1/2 -> 1/4 -> 1/8 (switch it seamless) and turn the speed up or only the key! Practise and enjoy ;)
(PS: Ellaskins, maybe you can show in a video what i mean - Cheers)
