That thing is ridiculous looking and so is the interior. The E60 sucks (aside from the E60 M5) BMW has always been about classic, elegant styling not this ill proportioned look at me designs. Some of bangles designs are great (X5, E63, Z4) but I'm not a fan of the E60.

Yes, the E60 5 series looks great, even though interior door panels look like crap. I am glad to see at least on review that isn't an old fart and agrees with me.

Just bought 05 545. Love it other than the idrive. Sucks you have to access just to use the regular radio.

The iDrive is amazing. I can cycle stations by just turning the knob instead of pressing buttons for presets. I can even access navigation from the same knob.

I love the 5-series style inside and out and im glad atleast one reviewer has the sense to say that this car looks 21st century. The previous BMWs just used to look so old and square. I think Chris Bangle's designs are the best things that ever happened to BMW. No wonder BMW became the global sales leader for luxury brands in 2006

I dont think Bangle's designs were the best,but I'm not a total anti-Bangle like 90% of the world's population. Older style BMW's had a solid sophisticated look about them,sporty and luxurious.

......pretty sure 90% of the world is an anti-Bangle. The VAST majority of people (and most luxury car buyers according to sales stats) like Bimmers. Also, i doubt 90 percent of the globe even know who Chris Bagle is :)

I bought the 545i 2004 model. It's a great car with great handling. I just hate the cup holders. I like my coffee in the morning & I liked the holders in the 200 330i. I also loved the horsepower!
