I have not yet gotten my moto license but i just started today, and i was looking at some bikes to be my first one. A lot of people are recommending the ninja 205r. Many others say you can learn just as good as you can on a sv650 while having a lot more of fun for a long time to come. I have no riding experience whatsoever but i can say that im good at bicycling (not sure if that means anything lol). Would the sv650 be too much power? My uncle says it will, he used to ride dirt bikes.

@plehdehgame it isn't that bad of a bike to start of on... i've also read allot reviews about this bike and no matter how great it is for a starter bike its a total bitch to find one today. very good beginner bike, so long as you ride within your limits your fine.... since i couldn't find it i'm now getting a kawasaki ninja 650r. good luck

This is what happens when an american harley davisin motorcycle rider decides to visit Europe and rents an SV650 Suzuki. He can not handle the added power. He even jumps of the SV650 when he realized it was too fast for him, but he just couldn't figure out how to release the throttle. He was frozen with fright! This is one reason americans should stay in the states. It would be best for everyone.
