  • Vincent Price was wonderful.

Really, he is one of the best entertainers of all-time.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • just love vincent

  • Wow this is a great version of A Christmas Carol.

I enjoyed watching I am so glad I found this.

  • Vincent Price was the best

  • This was originally filmed and syndicated in December 1949 (initially shown on Christmas Day that year in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles). Mike Stokey, creator, producer and host of "PANTOMIME QUIZ", was co-producer. This was probably Vincent's first major filmed TV apeparance...

  • Amazing! But you cant beat good old Albert finney!

  • DOES ANYONE KNOW IF OR WHERE I CAN GET THIS ON DVD.

  • @johnc385 It's apparently public domain now, so you can find it in a lot of dollar bin DVDs. Mill Creek just put this on their Holiday TV Classics collection, along with 48 other holiday shows (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's in a bundle, if you have to ask).

  • ...and grizzly ghouls to seal your doom..merry christmas=)

  • Vincent Price Is The Best Actor Of All Time . They Dont Make Any Good Movies Worth Squat Now A days

Oh And He Has The Best Voice

  • Thank you for posting this video. I have a recording of this that I made when it was shown on CBN in the mid- to late-80s, and our family has watched it practically every year since. Though it features some cheesy effects and acting (including a Tiny Tim that is not very endearing), the simplicity and awkwardness of the production makes it one of my favorite versions of the story.

  • Where's Vincent Price?

  • To the idiot that asked where Vincent Price is read this so you shall understand; HE'S THE GUY NARRATING THE STORY YOU DUMMY!

  • he's not recognizeable at his yong age

  • Ok good point. Course that's exctly how I remembered him looking.

  • The Christian Broadcasting Network (which later became The Family Channel) used to show this version of A Christmas Carol in the early 1980s. I never thought I'd ever see it again!

  • OMG this is here!!!!! so awesome!!!!!

  • This is so cool. I never knew this existed. Thanks for the post.

  • that grin at 2:44 so handsome

  • How ironic that Vincent, the most macabre voice of all, would read such a tale so perfectly.

Well, there's ghosts in it, I guess:)

  • @ConalCochran 3rd ghost, thats all that needs be said

  • v=OKAms5xr7os
