yeah they do overheat your 360 somewhat. i use to work at gamestop by the way Lmfao. there is some air cooling things that do not draw power from the 360 because it has a avcable to connect to the wall these are called intercooler TS the one i have is by nyko and it is a temp smart i highly think you should buy this

If anything the inter cooler is useful for older xbox 360 models but for the new Falcon and Elite models they have HDMI so you can't use the Pelican. Also the newer models have newer chips and better fans. So the inter coolers won't really be worth it anymore....

Yes you can. I do it everytime I play a racing game. I have all 4 in use all the time. My ipod, phone, and wired controllers and play and charge kits.

I, personally, like the Pelican Airflo cooler better, since it draws power from the consoles' USB port. the NyKo intercooler uses the power header on the 360, making the 360 work harder to speed up and slow down the fans which means the 360 needs additional power, you would basically be keeping the temperature the same, I too would recommend the product reviewed in the video as it cools the 360 efficiently, and without any risks...

@Qh3 It doesn't. The best way to stop overheating is to actually void your warranty and open the thing up.

From here you can both tape the GPU heatsink to the fan shroud and add a divider in the middle so that one fan pulls air solely from the GPU. I have run a system in shitty ventilation still with the original x clamps for 9 hours + without RRoD or even getting hot.

it has the component cables with rca audio so you can use one of red green or blue for composite(SD) hookup

I have the pelican fan stand and the pelican air flo cooler. I dont know how well this works because my 360 is in for repairs. When i get it back. Im going to use the pelican fan stand and the air flo for the ultimate pelican cooled system. I also need a kvm switch since I also want to user my 20' monitor. it is widescreen though!!! Mine runs at 1024x768 so it will work as a 720p I think.

I was thinking of this set up. Using the Pelican Air Flo to pull out air while using the Pelican Intercooler to suck in air. I was thinking this was ideal since is takes advantage of most of the vents the 360 has. Plus you can use the usb from the intercooler to connect to one of the 4 usbs on the Air Flow. I want to put this the test and see if I can run the 360 24/7. What do you thing thekefren?

I would say go for it, i plan on buying the pelican stand (the one that fits under the 360) as well, i just havent yet.

The main reason i got the intercooler was for the back of it so that i coud use all the extra connections

i cant see how your controller wouldnt connect shouldnt have anything to do with the intercooler, well unless you have a usb powered controller

in that case, the only fault ive had with this cooler is the fact that sometimes you have to pull the usb out and put it back in to re-recognize the usb peripheral

Well also depends on the temp of my room, when my room is 70F the air about an inch away from the back is about 95F, when my room is 80F it's about 103F

but the sides of the case are considerably cooler as in the case is no longer warm, the intercooler it self is but the 360 is cool to the touch
