I don't mind Dakota Fanning's version of these songs. It was cool they did it that way. It always looks stupid and fake when an actor doesn't sing or play an instrument for a part there playing. People should just take it for what it is. Dakota Fanning singing some Runaway tunes. There not bad like Val Kilmer's wersion of Jim Morrison's songs. Used to love that movie as a kid. Then I realized what good and bad singing is all about.

it says on the commentary on the dvd that she does. Kristen says she wishes they had filmed the solo because it was Joan playing the solo, and that Joan doesnt usually take the solos, Lita does, but this one it was Joan and that she had fun playing it.

Awesome movie, great acting by Dakota and Kirsten, the y sin pretty wel too. Loved the movie. My only complaint is that it left some stuff out, Joan Jett came out of the blue, i would have loved more scenes of her home or origin, plus they should have beeen more scenes with Lita Ford quarreling with Joan and Cherie, Sandy West could have ahad more exposure, I dont complain that they included a fake bass player, but they had like 4 or so so why not include a real one?.
