I like how the NVA and VC hid among the civilians. They also hid in hospitals, schools, villages, churches, and many other high populated areas. Then they wonder why there was collateral damage and call the Americans the murderers. It was a war nobody wanted, but stop whining that the US wasn't abiding by the International Law of War when the NVA and VC were not either. They chose to hide among the innocent which in turn made the civilian death toll way higher than it needed to be.

It's ok if they break the rules, but since America is a superpower we are held to a higher standard and cannot do the same. @teamairbend I do agree that it is a war that never had to happen. At the time the scare of a "Domino Effect" with communism had everyone so worked up. As far as using your people as slaves, I can't speak to that as I was not there. I do believe it is a war that got out of hand in the humanitarian aspect on both sides though. War obviously isn't humane, but if left totally unchecked the collateral damage is insane.
