With all due respect, the cited book of Maspero is quite out-dated. Egyptological and archaeological research has been completely revolutionized by a great number of discoveries and studies including interdisciplinary research (i.e. introducing many natrual sciences in the studies). Any verdict on the issue should be based on sound recent sceintific knowledge and not on out-dated infromation. To claim that all Egyptians were of Negro race is scientifically incorrect.

 Actually, Egyptians have many dynasties rotated through their races: there are Dogon, Sirian, Asian & Caucasian Pharaohs. Fisher King Nommos was African with black African features, Pharaoh King Menkaure has statuary showing Caucasian features..

Wspaniale Polskie Kino! Wspaniali aktorzy i rezyser! Ten film nigdy sie nie zestarzeje. Wydaje sie ascetyczny, ale to bardzo przemyslany ascetyzm powodujacy nieomal dokumenatlny charakter tego filmu. Widz czuje, ze jest w Egipcie epoki faraonow. Tak sobie naukowo wyobrażamy starozytny Egipt i taki mamy na ekranie. Dobrze, ze Kawalerowicz nie probowal zastosowac podkladu muzycznego ala Holywood bo tym by okaleczyl ten wspanialy film. Najbardziej wstrzasajaca scena filmu jest na jego zakonczeniu.
