The ball is for ferrets and it is abs plastic. He can't put a dent in it let alone eat it. Everything else is a dog rope toy, 2 parrot toys, a child's set of play keys, and a cat ball. He is never left alone during floor time. Other than the ferret ball and his dust bath, he actually plays with very little if any of it. I have had him for 2 years and he is very safe, healthy, and happy. Thank you all for your concerns.

eh.. plastic isn't the best toy for a chinchilla....
they can get really sick..
