The reason why everything is picked up because I use a condenser (/electrostatic)microphone. If you look closely on the bottom (right) of the screen, you can see it. It's different than a dynamic stage mic (Shure 58, etc.) which need to be closely to your mouth. It comes in handy for recordings like these ones.

No, but your obviously retarded. I'm an experinced sound engineer and I'm very familiar with effects, mic'ing and mixing. The subtle attributes in the vocal are something that is only accomplished by a close proximity to the microphone. If the mic was able to pick it up with that distance it would be drowned out by the guitar. Notice there is only one microphone?
