I understand your point about the dangers of generalization, but you can't deny that Africa is a boiling cauldron of Bronze Age mentality and utter brutality. It's the only place I know of left on Earth where people are still burned alive for witchcraft. I've seen the videos and they're disturbing. The genocide, corruption and violence elsewhere in the country is astounding. Yes, it's beautiful and rich with culture and people, but you can't deny how bad it is in some places.
