I'm also a left AK. I used to ride dirt bikes as a kid and never had a problem. after i out grew the 70cc i didnt ride anymore. im older now and looking into street bikes. im planning on putting an electronic shifter and something like this to the kick stand. i only have 2 worries, and i must ask you about them. one, have you ever dropped the bike because it fell to the left? and two, have you had trouble with keeping your foot on the peg? i wouldnt want it sliding off on the highway...
Nice work. How do you like the kliktronic? I am a left BK. I have been interested in Kliktronic for a couple years, but have not seen one in person or able to talk to anyone who tried it. Do you recommend it? I'd appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks
I can't kick the stand with an artificial leg so I put a tube over the tab on the kick stand and welded the flat metal bar to it so I can operate it by hand.
Hey! I've got the same leg! (Otto Bock!). Mines a Right leg so I need to find a way of stopping the bike falling over when I stop...

Yes.
Look on the web for the kliktronic site and see where it's been fitted.

They can be a bit 'sticky' if you don't get the angles and throw just right but the guys at kliktronic are very helpfull and will even fit for you.
The marauder (the 7yo unit) is a very simple fit with just a twist bracket while this one on my FJ1200 meant I had to build an external hanger frame.
The one on my Marauder is 7 years old and has been on a CB750 and a Venture. Together they have taken me all over Europe.
Look up the NABD they have used hundreds of these in adaptions.

Check out the NABD in the UK. Why there is no equivilant in the USA confounds me.

I see it now. I was thrown off by rack holding the bike off the ground. That's a pretty cool mod. Nice work!
