  • The best way to play like someone whom you admire, is to listen to a recording, and then try to emulate how that person is playing. If you listen closely, the melody will remain in your mind, and the person's performance as well.

  • There are young people today who could aspire to play like Carmen; however they would have to apply themselves on their instrument of choice, and then devote many hours to practice. It can be done if one has the desire and committment to succeed.

  • Could someone please tell me the names of other pianists which play like him nowadays? Thank you! tony1954brazil@yahoo.com

  • @tony1954brazil Theresn't anyone. Great pianists era is over and it's a pitty. Rockybrazil1

Precioso recuerdo.

  • @Zoe1941 Yes, many people says the same in Brazil. I didn't know it means garden. Thanks. Rockybrazil1

  • 0:01 LOL the guy sitting down looks around with such an innocent expression like "so what's up?" Oh my goodness-- Cavallaro is such a delight to listen to and watch-- this never gets old. And I like the little brass intro at 0:06 too, I wonder if he did all the arranging? thanks-- this is priceless.

  • This guy was the greatest. Im a pro pianist very much in the same style but Im afraid the rest of us, including many well known 'piano greats', can only aspire to be as good

    God bless you Carmen

  • Great video of Carmen and in color, too. He was so young and vibrant at this time. Such talent on that keyboard....I always enjoyed his playing so much...and still do!

  • added this to my Carmen Cavallaro playlist, thanks for the upload !!

My 400 playlists give you continuous play for any of over 250 artists or each of the past 120 years, so you hear the pop music of the day as if you were there!!!
