It is hard for an expert to determine what is an APBT is. let alone someone like you feeding in hype about these dogs. APBT's do have some animal aggression, but humans are to blame for that. With socialization that can be cured. The "wiki" thing... Do you not realize that information can be challenged? Wiki is NOT a reliable source to get your information. Not on this breed.

@ILuvMyPitbulls the other day i took my german shepherd and my pitbull on a walk and when we came back from the walk almost to the house, one of the neighbor's golden retriever came to play with them. all of a sudden he just starting attacking my pitbull, the pitbull was on the bottom and the golden retriever was on top. it was just a quick argh argh argh aggressively. luckily, my german shepherd didn't do anything or else the golden retriever would of gotten hurt.

My Father brought in dogs with temperment issues when others wanted to put them down. As a child, I was around many different breeds that had aggression issues. Most can be worked with. I was never bitten by any of the dogs, nor did they show aggression towards me. You have to be a special person to take on a dog that has been abused, or mistreated. BTW, Thanks :)

Wow really. Cause we've had our Amstaff mix since I was 4 years old, we adopted him after he was rescued from in front of a hospital in Trenton NJ. He is missing a piece of his ear and they told us he was thrown away from his precious owner because the dog wasn't able to fight well enough. And that dog has never hurt Anything or Anybody under the ownership of my family. You know why because we trained him right and loved him. Pitbulls may be protective but they're not monsters.

A husband and wife had to give up their 3 dogs (Mia, Karma, and Rubin), because "it's unlawful to own, raise, or transport any pit bull dogs" in Pawtucket. Rubin got adopted into a loving home, but I'm worried about Mia and Karma. I live in East Greenwich, where obedience schools in all the towns surrounding me specialize in training pit bulls for adoption.

I come from an agricultural town in England. I own 2 Staffordshire bull terriers and one American Stafford X American Bulldog.

Our dogs have vigorous training lessons and alot of exercise. We know what a real pit bull is. They have our backs and we have theirs. Living out in the country brings the true side of a dog out. Our staffords are wonderfull. Just watch the videos for the truth.

I live in IL, & had been following the Highland Park incident which happened a couple months ago-it's a shame that they had to go through w/it.
