I wish Rogue could have been at the Poe Museum in Richmond last night for the 203rd Birthday Bash for Edgar Poe, if only to recite this poem. It was just a lot of cool people, and I'm sure he would have enjoyed himself. Though to be fair, when there was the local poets reciting both Poe and their own works, one did do "Annabel Lee", and another did "Spirits of the Dead" which is mostly featured in the CXS song "Sympathy (For Tomorrow)" at the very end of the song.
*i* was on the panel--I was actually sitting to the far right of Rogue, and I definitely not bored...but then, the person who shot this video was more intent on capturing Rogue ;) And rightly so,
So what the flip, Edgar's poem being recited. Is this a concert for librarians?
