@greatbritain22 So do I, but the Conservatives are UKIP's primary enemy; UKIP stands for their traditonal principles and for every Conservative out there who feels betrayed by the coalition. If the Tories were destroyed, UKIP would be in power. That's the only point I'm making.
I agree with nigel, but for me my opposition to the movement of regulation from westminster to Brussels is about democracy not economics, because that's what it comes down to; greater erosions of our democracy and civil freedoms and further greater powers for the international banking elite.
@phatcontrolla but there's still an economic perspective in this. don't forget that the free market doesn't benefit at all from this move. It's like those who say the corporate problem is capitalism's fault. Anyone who would say that doesn't understand free market economics b/c they are hindered by monopolies & oligopolies.
UKIP can never win power unless the Conservative party is destroyed. Millions of people vote Tory out of habit without actually knowing how liberal they are. UKIP must work even harder to encourage defections from the Conservatives; this will hopefully persuade more people to vote for the real conservative party.
@MrYoungIndependence Totally agree! The only conservative with any sense seems to be Dan Hannan, the rest are just as socialist and Keynesian as the Socialists.
I knew Cameron was a fraud before the election which is why I haven't voted conservative for the first time in my life.
When he used the term 'Big Society' it really scared me and still does. Big Society=Big Collective.
@coltrane1966 The Big Society is about empowering the people, but that will never happen under the Conservatives; raising taxes as the governmnet has done does not increase the power of the people.
@xTROJANxX sorry, Nigel Farage is coming to America and taking over for Obama in 2012.... we need him worse than the UK does... you do, already have Boroso and Van Rompoy to guide you... we have no one.. therefore it only makes sense for Nigel to come to the states and straighten out the current infection in our white house
@goldcurrent1 We need to take to the streets like the TEA party movement in America, not like the socialists in Greece. There actually is a TEA party movement of the UK, set up by The Freedom Association, hopefully it will really get going. It works much better than a UKIP vote under a FPTP system.

@greatbritain22 That's not true at all; if the Conservative vote were transferred to UKIP then they would already have power. Fact.
