  • Clapton...yeah, whatever...Albert Lee is the breath of fresh air this song needs...

  • @scottgeshen yes albert lee drives this track on and pushes all this amazing stuff out of Eric. Incredible. Thanks for posting. I've been looking for this album for ages!

  • I fucking love this track.

  • of course...it's A.L. he use beautiful non typical blues scale..."Just more night" is Clapton best playing ever...

  • did albert lee play the second solo?

  • This is a Masterpiece of a Great Musician, unfortunately we can't see him performing live when he's playing this in Japan. I salute you Sir Eric Clapton.

  • Been trying to find this "best version". Thank you, EricClaptonAnFriends. The bastards never play this awesome version on the airwaves.

  • @gumbyman540 ..OMG ive been looking for this version too..same as you i used to love it when they played it on the radio..dont hear it anymore...man does this bring back some awesome memories..

  • @motorhead1964 , bookmark it and enjoy the heck out of it! Great ripping guiter solo, too.

  • @gumbyman540 already did believe that

  • @gumbyman540 They do now, just heard it on 'The Sound' FM

  • best version undoubtedly

  • 1:32 what happens there??

  • love the part from 2:52 to 3:20

  • the best live recording of this song IMO.

  • its amazing that the yardbirds's breakup is the best thing ever to happen to music, lol

  • Back in my high school days, I had a Harman Karden Amp, a pair of big bad ass Infinity speakers and Linear arm turntable...I was the bad ass. I had Frampton, and Styx and Blue Oyster Cult and Thin Lizzy and of course Hendrix...and Clapton...and at exactly 2:46 on this song, "Cocaine" would pop the circuit breaker in my speaker if it was really cranked, the only song I could ever get to do it....heaven was this song through a set of Infinity speakers circa early 1980's.

  • OK CLAPTON

  • best version...incredible..solo guitar..ERIC...

  • i wonder how many times i replay

  • when clapton tears into it at 2.38, it's awesome!

  • the best version.. i like it *1st heard at junior's high school

  • the best version.. i like it *1st heard at junior's high school

  • Clapton rips it UP on this live version! When it first hit the airwaves I thought it was kind of like Clapton outdoing Clapton. Brilliant solo!

  • With all my thousands of albums, cds, tapes, eight tracks, and even a few reel to reels, I've never had this in my collection. I will remedy that shortly.

  • @thealbumcollector IT is now available on double cd Just one night, what are you waiting for come on score now!

  • Albert Lee's solo it's awesome, i love it!

  • I'd like to snort this song

  • PS. Cocaine!

  • Thanks for the quality upload.

  • Just for your info, chalkietalkie7, the Blues Brother to whom you're referring is bassist Donald "Duck" Dunn, also late of Booker T and the MGs and, BTW, a wonderful, guest performance on Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's "Woman in Love" ((the studio version from "The Waiting"!).

  • fucking awesome i heard this on the radio and loved it had no idea what album it was from. play on slow hand

  • dpmusicchannel - Yes! I could not agree more. One of the things I love about this song (and the version from the Crossroads 2004 concert) is when Clapton is NOT playing lead. Hearing Albert Lee with his rich, full sound and Clapton backing up with his beautiful flat, tinny blues guitar is some of my favorite music on this album. The same can be said of Doyle Bramhall II at Crossroads.

  • on this version (my favorite) Clapton does the first solo 1:33 and Albert does second 4:44 which closes out the song... I know a lot of people probably thought Clapton was doing all these guitar parts.

Albert is on this entire album (Just One Night) THANKS FOR POSTING

  • the best version..tanks..

  • Well well, if you got the album "Just one night" you have the best music that man ever made.

  • the best version ever way better than the album

  • My favourite guitar solo, pure pleasure when it starts and with at least one Blues Brother in there as well I think...
