  • how do u make them hold things

  • You know, you sound JUST LIKE Jim Henson's original voice! Sure, we may be used to Steve Whitemire's Kermit today, but you are just as good as the original Kermit! Maybe one day when/if Steve passes away, you could be the next Kermit!

  • wow!!! looks exactly like the original!!

  • wow..u def beter do his voice when u get older

  • Brilliant performance!

  • Incredible job! Seriously! Might I ask: What did you make the mouth plate out of?

  • Amazing impression!

  • This was honestly the first video I've ever seen of someone using a replica Kermit.

Seek out "Kermit the frog meets hunter" for another excellent replica. The love and care that these builders put into well made reproductions is outstanding

  • I wish I could do a (good) Kermit impression.

  • hi nice replica!

    do you share some patterns?

  • Really impressive and encouraging for people looking to make their own.

  • really good impression

  • Nice puppet, although I would say a slightly smaller mouth plate :)

  • Awesome! My mom would DIE for that puppet. howd u make it?

  • This is really great. How much did it cost to build?

  • You made that! He's perfect!

  • the 'mmha-haa!' at 0:16 is so solid!

  • my man you are dialed in on your voices.. fozzie has always been difficult for me and you killed it! nice rasp in floyd too.

  • This was pretty well done!! now it's time to make your own muppet show!!!

  • Oh my God I've done the same thing excep your puppet looks like the real deal and the voices are dead on. Great job.

  • I notice the pin on Kermit's hand that's holdong the napkin. lol :P

  • Beautiful Kermit. I know you've made better ones, but this was a perfect first attempt. :D

  • can u make a miss piggy

  • Hire this man right now

  • wakka wakka....who wants to here a funny ass joke....

  • Dude ur GOOD. Not exactly kermit, but 90-95%, which is good enough.

  • You do a great Kermit.

  • can you make a tutorial on how to make the kermit Puppet

  • brother you need to carry your butt over to henson studios and show them what you got! i think i covered all your videos and i'm very very impressed! great job!

  • I made one too

  • @karim2324 So lets see it

  • @Studmeister17 I dont know how to make a vid

  • @karim2324 Sad.

  • Perfect Kermit and awesome puppet.

  • amazingly made puppet, and a good voice. i mean, if i heard that on a real muppet production i'd probably think something was a little off, because i think it is a nice mixture of henson's and whitmire's.

I agree with you that many kermit impressions are abismal, as is mine.

    I do a mean Ernie tho ;)

  • not bad!

  • kermit impression is good, the puppet is EXCELLENT!

  • Wow. this is amazing! You've got to do a tutorial on how to build a kermit muppet! That would be soo awesome!

  • holy shit, piggy was perfect!

  • Those are some great impressions! And I love the handmade Kermit puppet!! Definitely the best I've seen. If you don't mind me asking, (i've never built a puppet or muppet before), How did you make it and how long did it take?

  • good stuff. closer to Whitmire than Henson but cool either way! spot on with the other impressions as well!

  • That's amazing. r u willing to sell these? name a price and plus I subbed

  • Fantastic puppet! That looks almost exactly the same as the current Kermit. Great job!

  • Dis you ued gasket rubber for Kermit?

  • that's an awesome puppet! i am building a kermit puppet and i have a few questions. 1) did u use ping pong balls for the eyes? 2) and did u use foam in the head, body and arms?

  • no foam in the head or arms. and yes the eyes are ping pong balls :)

  • @kermit3001 kk thanx

  • @kermit3001can you make me a kermit

  • @kermit3001 wow. the ORIGINAL one also used ping pong balls for eyes. in fact the only thing kermit is made of is ping pong, you know, balls and an old green jacket.

  • WOW!!! thats a awsome home made kermit!!

  • This is the first video I saw of you.... you blow me away with piggy and Floyd. Kermit's very good too and what you do with your hand in the head is perfect... try to work on different level of speed with kermit.. more contrast... lively.. it,s seem too much at the same level.... could fall asleep (if you understant what i mean). and can't beleive that you build this one.. GREAT Job... Please work on some adequate lighting for your videos... to see the beautiful artwork...ok next videoLOL

  • This is great man.

  • I like the movie Zoolander

  • great stuff !

    Good Impressions

    Good Puppetry

    Good Puppet

  • OMG THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!

  • Geeze....sounds like a clone to me. Can't any closer than that.....nice work

  • very nice impression and an outstanding kermit puppet!

  • Great Puppet and Great Impressions!!! :)

  • You really did a good job! He's so realistic; you know what I mean. lol. :)

  • Wow- now thats talent! He looks amazing :D

  • that's an awesome puppet! if you made more and you were a puppet make/ seller, how much would one of those go for?

  • i would never sell a Kermit. copyright

  • @kermit3001 oh. ok then my search continues...

  • why not do what i did? make one! :D

  • @kermit3001 i can NEVER make that! i don't know the materials i need, the steps, its all too hard!

  • You did a great job building the puppet. As well as Kermit's voice. I don't understand why you're uncomfortable doing it.

  • i just feel like there are SOOO many bad kermit impressions that i dont want to contribute. therefore im self concious about my kermit impression

  • @kermit3001 Okay. I see. However your Kermit voice is better than most of the others I heard.

  • @kermit3001 really now? becuase oyou would be a great successor to kermit, piggy, and everyone! and great Kermit puppet its perfect! Don't be self conious you just focus on the goal buddy!

  • @kermit3001 You sound spot on! With all of them! Bravo!

  • Did you use Antron fleece? Great job!! Love it

  • believe it or not i used standard anti pill fleece

  • love the riff at the end XD

    Loved it all!

BRILLIANT! Too bad it isn't like the old days when you'd turn up to the studio to audition and meet the magic-makers yourself. You'd have to be in- if not as a performer, certainly as a creator.

    *sigh*

  • :D!!!!!!!!! You did A great JOB with your kermit!!!!!!!!!!!! very great job! plz put more vids up like this! :D

  • It's so great to finally hear you do Kermit. It was perfect.

  • Ha Ha love it, glad i got to see your talent, b4 the big boys remove it, I hope this video stays.

  • it should stay, there is no copyrighted music or anything

  • perfect james. flawless.

  • WOW That definily sounds like Kermit
