this guy is a hypocrite. according to this guy, all spanish guys should be checked because they might be "illegal" because a white skinned guy driving in southern texas doesnt meet the profile of a illegal immigrants. a white chechen muslim could easily pass our security systems if ventura was our president.
@gideondavid30 so youre saying its ok to search all dark skin people? didnt you read my comment on white muslim chechens? and yeah privitasing security works well. just take a look at blackwater in iraq. that turned out well.
1) Not all dark skin people..just those that meet the profile of a terrorist. It could be in their manneurisms, if they are acting nervous, all kinds of factors.
2) Give me a break man. We have private security all over the place. I am not talking about a paramilitary force accountable to know one.
3) The difference between private and public is YOU CAN CHOOSE in a private market. If you want to be strip searched then choose airline A; if you don't want to be searched CHOOSE B.
@gideondavid30 1. reaslistically, a good portion is going to be nervous in an airport. both my folks are scared of flying.
2. private security for malls, apartmenst etc...no exactly high stakes situation. most private security are poorly trained.
3. regardless of private or public, airlines have been used by terrorists for decades. there are serious flaws in security. despite the fact that TSA may go little wild sometimes they havent had an attack in the u.s since 9/11
1. You are missing the entire point. There are many factors by which security takes into consideration. You can't just point to one factor and find fault with it.
2. I agree most private security is poorly trained......that doesn't mean the airlines are unable to better train their security....especially when their is incentive on their parts to do so.
3. Regardless of public/private, it is simply impossible to eliminate all risks that are present in the world.
@gideondavid30 1. exactly, too many factors to deal with. so lets play it safe and everybody gets searched. you think getting harrassed at the airport is bad? try getting harassed all your life because of how you look like.
2. hmmm, maybe.
3. sure, but it wont hurt to try. at least someone could say " our security was very tight, i dont know how it happened" vs" our security had serious flaws, thus this happened"
1. No lets not play it safe. I don't consider a government power grab and violation of our constitutional rights playing it safe. Guess what - everybody is getting harassed now. Now we have equal misery for all people. That isn't a better alternative.
3. If people want security than let the markets determine that. let consumer choice motivate the airlines in their security efficiency. What you don't want is another government power grab.
@gideondavid30 because corporations at the end of day want to make money. they will take short cuts to save.look at all the major finance companies. and i know youre a ron paul supporter but living in anarchy is not going to work.
when they take shortcuts their product/service becomes poor. People don't like poor goods/services. People stop buying goods/services. Corporations take losses. Losses motivate corporations to do better or they go bankrupt.
4. the very existence of the TSA violates the constitution and sets a bad precedent for the U.S. The 4th amendment does not just apply in some situations. What you don't understand is there comes a point when Americans need to fear their own government and its growth MORE than they do the boogey men abroad.
@gideondavid30 dude, if youre going that route then theres no point in debating you. your "boogey" once existed and got killed on 05/01/2011.other boogey like richard reid do exist.
Yeah your right man. Since a terrorist attack happened we need to abandon all our civil liberties, give up all our rights to our government. Let us live in a police state indefinitely.
You don't get it do you? When the government tramples our constitutional rights it sets a bad precedent. Power corrupts in increments. If you don't take a stand now it becomes harder to stand later.
Today it is just the airports, tomorrow it is the mall, after that they place cameras in your house
Have you heard of the Patriot Act? Do you know the kinda power they have now? Even though they may not use it now doesn't mean they will use it later.
Lol you need to read the words of Thomas Jefferson. Better yet, you need to study the AMerican forefathers.
Our constitution was created and designed in such a way as to prevent a government tyranny from forming. They were PARANOID of a centralized power as they lived under a monarch who brutally oppressed them.

Private property needs to be protected in a free country.....and if that includes racists restaurant owners than so be it. If people are not entitled to their property like they are entitled to their free speech...then we are not living in a free country.
@gideondavid30 and, you will have alot of minorities boycotting airlines because " only people that look like terrorists" are searched. come on dude, we live in the 21st century. racism, bigotry, and discrimmination are things from the past. it will never fly today. profiling someone based on skin color is false. like i said befor....white muslim chechens. if they are trained well they wont have all the "characteristics" of a terrorists.
@gideondavid30 you are. you cannot profile a criminal or terrorist. they all come in different forms. white collar criminals can completely ruin thousands of lives. and of course we have white muslims chechens. "profiling" is the 21st century name for "racism"

@Danielistheyoung You wouldn't say that if a TSA agent were molesting your 80-some year old grandmother or little child... and many TSA agents have been caught ENJOYING fondling the private parts of children and elderly people. Many such cases have been documented and went undiscipline. The ones who do that are perverts and pedophiles. The measures taken by TSA are gold mines for pervs who know how to 'act normal' and use this job to 'legally' touch people's privates.
I disagree with the TSA thing. You have the option to fly or drive. If you don't like the TSA than drive. If you don't like getting a pat down at a night club don't go in the night club or a concert. @ABrickmanA like most people we underestimate our power as human beings, in order to stop us from realizing this fluoride is part of a web of actions designed to keep people in a state of 'non plus' and easy to control. It was used in concentration camps.
The 1% need to remember God has 100% power of veto!
al jazeera was being reasonable with this, despite having persons empowered who are supposed to not agree with Jesse. But all you have to do is actually talk this stuff out, and you cannot deny conspiracy theory. lol, if this were fox or CNN, they would have shut Jesse out and made fun of him, etc etc, in a matter of minutes. Jesse, you handled that whole thing so well. I actually felt hope for the first time in a long time.
"The pro-wrestler-turned-politician has been outspoken in calling for greater transparency."-only confirms my original impression of these funky guys. What kind of manipulative undertitle is that? He was a NAVY SEAL LOOOOONG before that for God sake!
I like those reporters, they seemed honest and fair. They didn't seem like a bunch of puppets like the rest of the mainstream media. If I was the CEO of fox news, I would fire probably about half of all reporters and hire those guys.
Great man - Ventura! But this little metro-sexual looking indian moderator spoils a bit the interview-first this stupid picture of Ventura on the back, after that dropping probably the most important fact of Jesse's carrier, and after that kind of shaky style of leading of the interview with interrupting Jesse...Still better than the FOX-idiotic puppets.
@chrismsalas18 big time, i think even if people dont agree with everything ron has to say he is the only one that isnt in the corporate pocket book and will fight for the people for real change to benefit everyone, the clowns trying to control shit right now are only about the greed
They'll put a world war onto our heads before we (the people)could dismantle any of their conspiracies . Hard reset in the form of terror and total chaos, peoples used to slaughter other peoples. Do not be mistaken about this, it is very clear.
Profiling is terrific. Provided, of course, that you aren't 'different' in any way. Different skin pigmentation; different political viewpoint; different due to an intense concentration level; or different in the sense that you are annoyed because of pat-downs or unwanted attention.
There is no standard procedure, that will keep us completely safe. Until we have personal defensive technologies against attacks, these will continue to be political issues, and ultimately a waste of resources.
Jesse i agree with you in every way. But about the search in an airport or in a necessary situation i believe should be done.

@ABrickmanA check it out, effects of fluoride
thebachu786 2 months ago
@ABrickmanA like most people we underestimate our power as human beings, in order to stop us from realizing this fluoride is part of a web of actions designed to keep people in a state of 'non plus' and easy to control. It was used in concentration camps.

al jazeera was being reasonable with this, despite having persons empowered who are supposed to not agree with Jesse.
