on youtube search 'how to unlock the ijannah', in that lecture the khateeb refers to this kalima. this kalima opens up the abwab of jannah, it's not made up, it's from the sunnah.
Brothers very Easy Answer. This is the Kalima of Ahmadiyya Qadiani Cult. The wording after shahada were actually the Shahada of the messiah Dajjal (Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani). They are also working hard to convert people onto their Satan path. May Allah bring this poor lost brother to the right path to the sunnah and may Allah destroy these kuffar qadianis . Ameen
@1MoreMuslim The meaning of this Kalimah totally makes sense, i don't think there's anything wrong with it, however, its probably only for christians who convert. They probly made him say the addition part so that he knows that we believe in Jesus too but only as a messenger, not as God. Its true that one cant be a muslim until he hates "JESUS IS GOD", but in this kalimah, the convert brother says jesus is a servant of allah. May allllah give us all hidayah
@megahawk49 Except for one thing: The New Muslim here doesn't understand the meaning of the long Arabic Kalima, so the cheikh should have made it easy for him in Arabic. Someone could explain for him the Islamic Aqidah in his language. But he should have already known what Muslims believe about Jesus, so it's again, useless.
@1MoreMuslim Allah Knows Best. It might be useless however, it really can't be considered wrong or a bid'ah. Again, it might be useless, Allah knows best. Thats teh best way to put it. May allah guide us all. Ameen.
Great Brother, we have a new brother in our Umah, may Allah strengthen him and make him leader in his field. We love you brother (without knowing you) in the sake of Allah!!
@1MoreMuslim You lack any serious knowledge of Islam. I would recommend you get off the anti-Islamic websites, and try reading some books that actually teach the religion properly. Check out Phil Esposito or Karen Armstrong.
Hazrat Ubadah bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "He who bears witness that there is no true god except Allah, alone having no partner with Him, that Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH) is His slave and His Messenger, that `Isa (Jesus)(PBUH) is His slave and Messenger and he (Jesus) is His Word which.....

There is only ONE Kalima in Islam. and whoever converts have to read that ONE Kalma ONLY. it sums up everything, every faith, every belief. and it caters every religion. Islam doesnt teach us discrimination, then how can Allah, the Almighy, the most merciful, discriminate between religions.
This is a man-made Kalima. and technically, the guy have not been coverted "technically".
and why did the "Imam" gave his showel to him?? :S.... if it was a gift, why was he wearing it?
This is actually the correct Kalima for Christians to recite when they convert to Islam. Some people know this from reading accounts from the time of the Messenger (pbuh) in books of hadith. Other people who do not know the extra addition only recite the usual Kalima. If a Christian converted and did not know to recite the addition, that is okay, they are still Muslims due to Kalima, Faith, Prayer, etc.
@012ron JazakAllah for the reply. Can you please reference the Hadith you have mentioned.
I have never heard of this before, and i think that it was somewhat disrespectfull towards Christianity to say such thing.
Since we Muslims already believe in Allah as the one and only and Mohammad (PBUH) as the Prophet of Allah. that is one of the very few differences between in Muslims and Christians, as Christians do not believe in Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
@irfanba The is one major difference between Islam and Christianity. We believe Christ to be the Son of God in the flesh. And we believe salvation from sin was attained at the cross by God's work through his Son not our own striving. We believe he arose again and that he didn't flee like a coward. But that he willingly chose to give his life for us on that tree because dying for someone is the ultimate form of sacrifice and love. I believe we can all agree on that.
There are many differences between Christianity and Islam. For one, Muslims don't believe in God as the top being within a hierarchy of beings, rather we believe in a God that transcends the created hierarchy. Do your research and look up "ebunites".
@Superpanda9586 In Islam, 2 things are avoided: (a) any humanization of God (the supreme, transcendent Being who created all that exists); i.e. bringing God down to a human level, with all the deficiencies, weaknesses, imperfections & lowly qualities that we have... we say God is above all that. He wants something to occur: "BE!" > and it becomes. Done. • We don't believe God has children, or that God Had a son (as humans do)... or that He's a single parent; He sent His son on a suicide mission
@Superpanda9586 We believe that God, being God, doesn't need to throw His son in front of a car, to save the man who was about to be hit by it!! • Is that a display of love? And can we even call that "saving" the man who was about to be hit by the car? = Even in our lowly reality, is it considered "love" ♥ or even 'GOOD' to throw your own son in front of a moving car, if you see that it's about to hit a pedestrian?
No. Even on a low, human level, the love-driven thing would be for YOU to step
@Superpanda9586 .... for YOU to step forward & do something about it.... So, we believe that God, being God, is ready to forgive. HE forgave Adam. Sin was not passed down. God is the All-Forgiving. He didn't need to see BLOOD and death and murder ... and for Jesus to (allegedly) say: my Lord, my God, why have YOU forsaken ME? ♣ In Islam, God says, you take the 1st step, I'll come to you at speed. Prophet Muhammad says, God's love and happiness and Joy, when His slave repents, is unimaginable
@Superpanda9586 And yes, in the end, salvation - even as the final Prophet Muhammad stated - will not occur, via our deeds and actions and repentance... it will only be via GOD's MERCY. Because salvation, Paradise, etc, is beyond anything we could earn - no matter what we do, we fall short.
But who will He shower His Mercy on? On those who struggled, who put in the effort, and did righteous deeds, made that U-turn to God and sought His forgiveness -- Just as Human #1 did; Adam and also Eve.
@Superpanda9586 We believe that the Word of God, a Spirit from Himself, the son of the virgin Mary, the Messiah, the Christ...
Jesus (عليه السلام) was not a break in the cycle.. He didn't teach something new that no other Prophet taught before, He didn't contradict their life-work... what Adam lived for, what Moses, Abraham, Joseph, Solomon, Noah, etc all taught and preached -- he was a Miracle from God, a Prophet born of no father; as Adam was born of no one, and he preached Pure Monotheism
@Superpanda9586 The 2nd thing that we absolutely avoid in Islam, after (a) humanization of God, is (b) any sort of deification of a created being (whether it is a man, woman, moon, sun, prophet, saint)... No deification of an imperfect, flawed, weak, deficient being that uses the bathroom (for example), that NEEDS TO EAT to survive... that lives and dies and so on. ♦ Such a being (a created being that is; created by the 1 True Deity), is not deified in any way, or brought up to a Godly level.
what he said is true - there is also a difference between christainty and Islam on the nature of christ - Muslims believe he is the servant and great prophet of God while Christains believe he is divine.
@irfanba There is a sound, 100% Authentic Prophetic Tradition that we have in Islam, that traces back to our Prophet Muhammad - the final Messenger & seal of the Prophets - that he said, whoever (i.e. Christian) says the following testification [shahadah] - with conviction - WILL enter Paradise, and will be granted admission from any of the 8 Gates of Paradises that he/she wishes to enter from!!
♣ This was transmitted & collected in the Sahih of Al-Bukhari, 3435; Sahih of Muslim, 28, etc, etc
@irfanba > That particular Testification that the Prophet mentioned was as follows,
أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله, وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله
I bear witness that there is NO real deity except the 1 true Creator ~ (in Arabic:) Allah. And I testify that Muhammad was His slave/worshipper & His last Messenger.
وأشهد أن عيسى رسول الله, وكلمته ألقاها إلى مريم, وروح منه
And I bear witness that Jesus Christ was God's Messenger, and His Word which He bestowed on the Virgin Mary, and a Spirit from Him.
@irfanba Salaam! just wondering akhi...did you ever find out the scriptural justification of this kalima? I was a this conference a while back and I wondered the same thing.
this is the very proper way of shahadat,.. this is the way people should say it actually.
