  • Go with Infusoria for the first two weeks and mix in some baby brine shrimp. Alternate the diet. Don't feed them just brine because this can dry out the little guys and give them constipation resulting in swim bladder disorder. I lost a whole batch of 100 to SBD.

  • how old were they

  • @trojanshawaii These fry look to be about 4 weeks old.

  • @MrJamiejay08 No infusoria are organisms in the water that the betta fry eat. You need to produce them yourself. Google infusoria on how to produce them.

  • i got a ques ..can u feed em brine shrimp right away....because i can get the infusorias....?..

  • @RafaMacRafa Depends on how big the brine shrimp are. If they are small enough to fit the betta fries mouth then yes. If not they will probably just chase it around and can't eat it.

  • I like that setup it's very nice

  • joi! loy main.

  • do do u let them eat as much as they want?

  • hi I was thinking about frozen brine shrimp..have u raised to adults on this?how much do u feed and can I get it at petco or petsmart please reply back thanks alot

  • @asianguy39 i went to petco and they only had frozen brine shrimp. i havent checked petsmart but i wanna buy some so i could start breeding my bettas i have 2 female and 1 male veil tail they are beautiful!

  • Make sure you go with Hikari brand baby brine shrimp. All the rest put bacteria in the water that can harm your fry.

  • They don't seem to mind the frozen at all. Normal BBS just seems like so much work, and it seems to be hard to time it right.

  • Did you buy frozen brine shrimp or did ya made it? O.O btw what plant is that ?!

  • wich one is better frozen or liveing bb ?

  • Infusoria

  • did you feed them the same thing and size when they were a day old??

  • When they hatched from the egg? They had their yolk sac so I didn't feed them. I started to feed them Infusoria when they were free swimming.

  • thank you.

  • how do you get infurosia I knew you can get it from pond water or somethign like that can oyu confirm this?

  • @khmerboy6969 did infusoria really worked ??because they told me that it didnt worked for bettas

  • @1ELCHONENSE Yea my betta fries loved the infusoria. Who told you that it didn't work for bettas?

  • i hear that frozen brime shrimp could be brought back to life??

  • Really? Where did you hear that from? I would like to try. LoL. But I've always wanted to breed brine shrimp so that I can have an unlimited supply. Instead of constantly buying it. I'm just lazy. If you find out how to revive the frozen ones hit me up, let me know. I highly doubt it's possible though. :)

  • nope thats not possible but its a pain to keep the baby brine shrimp cause u have to get rid of the ones u hatched within 24 hours

  • I don't think that would be to much of a problem with these little hungry guys around ^_^

  • well its not good to give them alot of brine shrimp cause it causes some kinda of disease

  • swim bladder

  • how do u make in infusoria?

  • you can get it from any stagnant body of water near you. the toilet does not count

  • just go there and pick up water and put in my tank?

  • well not exactly you should read up on it
