@SkymanBrother I believe it is because Miyam Bialik, the actress who plays Amy is one of the only ones who has never had any sort of formal acting training. Jim Parsons has a degree in theater, some of the other ones have taken acting classes, etc., but she mentioned at one point that she only has acting experience from school plays and stuff like that. Also, she has a Ph.D. in neuroscience in real life, so she is just sort of being herself I guess.
