Dont get me wrong, Im no anarchist, some public employees are a necessary burden on society, but they are a burden nonetheless. Gov doesnt produce the goods and services we consume, you can make an argument for a few police, and firemen, but when every third car has red and blue lights, we have a problem. When did we go from Cops waiting on a call, to patroling for crime? Firemen don't ride around looking for fires, and when was the last time you heard of a cop preventing a crime?

Ann, as usual, made herself look like a complete conservative retard. Yeah, there are people that will scream racism to get their way, but more times than not there is some racism involved. To deny it completely because of that? C'mon now! We have freedom of speech in this country, but it is very limited. In the whole I agree with Ann Coulter in this argument. However, I wish she had conceded Sharpton's just argument that the officer's behaviour was worse than Gates' because he was an officer and not a private citizen.

Because for as long as america has existed white women have always had some one sticking up for them. Look at the historical context. Also why is nobody talking about the fact the police report states that the person who called 911 said she seen 2 black men possibly breaking in a house but the 911 call clearly revealed she never said black men at all. I totally agree with you truthegreat...the second policeman violated all the ideals that the justice system stands for, and deserved to be suspended. So the final tally is, the policeman was exonerated, the professor was denied all charges, Obama gets a great P.R. opportunity. And the responsible citizen gets death threats for her troubles.

I'm not a fan of Coulter, but she did well considering all the stops Larry took to take away from her well-reasoned argument. Her argument is that one cannot reasonably take away from the claim that racial profiling exists, it's just not the epidemic that the media supposes it to be. Why is Larry asking her to a) defend the actions of a suspended police officer, b) answer to hypothetical situations c) spin negativity of the sit-and-talk? And yet she still proved her point.
