  • the only thing I don't like about Sonax stuff compared to P21S gel is that it seems to me the Sonax nozzle is much more focused which means I have to use a lot more whereas with the P21S gel it offers a wide angle spray so I don't hav to use too much at all and the P21S spreads out easier around the wheel when agitated. Having said that, the Sonax is much more powerful so I really only use it for heavily "soiled" wheels and use P21S gel for most cleaning.

  • @germankid93 thats strange because of the sonax bottles ive used, they offer a pretty wide spray pattern. 99% of the time i do not use the spray bottles it comes in though. i use kwazar dual action sprayers instead.

  • @billhasher that's exactly what I did with it. I just put it in a different spray bottle. but yeah for some reason the Sonax bottle I got shot almost like a straight stream with no spray at all which was fairly annoying, but not too hard to fix.

  • I used Autoglam and will be using sonax after afew hours ( when the wheel cools down ).

From your video it's sonax for sure.

  • Dude MORE! lol

  • @gshdrums i will try and make a video next time i clean my car and will use autoglym custom wheel cleaner instead of the sonax.

  • @billhasher yeh can ya, cause you can buy it in bulk, and i was thinking about getting some, i just bought a gallon of Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel Gel

  • @gshdrums you're going to kick yourself for buying the diablo once you try the autoglym custom wheel cleaner.

  • @billhasher Diablo is fantatic, my car doesnt have performance pads and the dust is really light, diablo works fantastic.............but wont with baked on brake dust......please try the AG Custom!!!! :)

  • I love sonax the best for wheel products!

if you let it sit just for 3-5min...no agitation, you should be able to wash it off with a "jet mode" ona regular garden hose and be completely fine! ALSO i do recommend rinsing the wheel more! Sonax has been know to discolor wheels because extra product was not rinsed off!

  • @Roush20115XR i have tried this, but have found that it depends on the car and how clean/dirty the wheels are. over the winter i worked on a bmw with pretty dirty wheels. i coated them with sonax and let it dwell, then powerwashed the wheels. they did not come out totally clean, so i had to reclean them with brushes. only time i will do no agitation is if the wheels are pretty clean already, and in that case, im usually not using sonax for relatively clean wheels.

  • you make a good video on wheel cleaners DO MORE

  • I love the way you work; very quickly, efficiently...and you definitely know your way around those Denvers.

Have you tried this product without agitating with brushes? I've heard a lot of people don't.

  • @chasemer6

havent tried that yet, but i plan to at some point. with using just a garden hose i probably wouldnt recommend doing it, but i have heard from reputable sources that simply blasting everything off with a presure washer works well. i will try it sometime soon and post a video.

  • do some more reviews on wheels cleaners dude!

  • Thanks for video! What kind of brush was it you used for agitating?

  • Great video. When you applied the wax before the winter did you take the rims off the car or did you apply it while they were on?

  • @DetailDream yes, i removed my wheels during my winter prep and sealed them inside and out with collinite 845.

  • Good review! I just bought that same cleaner after watching your video but my rims seem to be a bit too clean to use it at the moment. In a few weeks they need that treatment.

  • @Gizmopflege thanks! enjoy the sonax. its an amazing product!
